There are several ideas running through this episode of "Modern Family" one of the best sitcoms on television. Directed by Jason Winer and written by Elaine Ko, the episode presents a series of conflicts about different members of the family and how they deal with their problems.

One of the most serious ones concerns Mitch and Cam. They are seen at a movie theater watching the previews. A father with two small children come and sits right behind them. Cam is horrified: how dare this man bring his small kids to such a violent film. As they go arguing back and forth, it turns out the duo has been sitting in the wrong theater where a kid oriented film will be shown. Not content with the embarrassment, as they drive home, someone rears end them.

Claire has a new cause. When she meets the councilman that rejected her plea for a traffic light in her area, she knows exactly what she will do: she will run against the man. At home there are problems with Haley, she borrowed money to buy fake IDs for her friends and she was cheated. The men hearing about it during a gathering at Jay's decide to take matters in their own hands.

This chapter keeps in line with the story line set by the creators. It always involve every one in the three families, one way or another. That way, no one gets singled out to be seen more than the rest.
