Actor Gabriel Macht is best known for his role as Harvey Specter in the legal drama Suits. The actor’s swagger and sophisticated performance received renewed interest last year when it debuted on Netflix and introduced Specter to a whole new generation of audiences. The response was so good that a spinoff show is currently in development.
Macht has prided himself in being a family man and has, in fact, taken a break from acting ever since the end of the series. However, even while filming he managed to keep his family close, with his wife Jacinda Barrett and his father Stephen Macht playing recurring roles. One rumor about his daughter Satine being a part of the series was debunked.

“The Blind Side” was an Oscar-winning, feel-good hit from the moment that it premiered in 2009. The Sandra Bullock-led film told the story of Super Bowl champion NFL lineman Michael Oher and how his difficult childhood led to his being adopted by the Tuohy family who helped him become a high school football star, before heading off to college at Ole Miss. However, recently, Oher himself has leveled damaging accusations at the Tuohy family, claiming that they never adopted him, but instead had him placed in a conservatorship and used that to take money that rightfully should belong to him. In the latest CNN FlashDoc, ‘Blindsided,” journalists explore all sides of the story to get down to the bottom of what actually happened to this fractured family. You can watch with a 7-Day Free Trial of Max.

After his name first graced the big screen in the The Blind Side, the real story of Michael Oher is told in the new documentary Blindsided, which has just debuted its first trailer ahead of its November 16th premiere.
When The Blind Side first premiered in 2009, it earned more than $300 million at the box office, nabbed Sandra Bullock an Oscar, and became one of history’s most successful sports films. Its plot centered around Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy, a wealthy couple who adopt a foster child and help him become an NFL champion. It claimed to be based on a true story, one with an undoubtedly happy ending.
Then, in August 2023, Michael Oher filed a lawsuit against the Tuohys saying they actually never adopted him. Instead, he claimed his new “parents” created a conservatorship that granted them legal authority to make business deals in his name, subsequently raking in...

Love Is Blind never fails to deliver the drama. But the new season of the Netflix reality series featured a twist we didn’t see coming – but maybe should have anticipated. The first four episodes of season 5 dropped on the streaming service on Sept. 22, and they featured a major reveal that will likely reverberate throughout the upcoming episodes.
[Warning: This article contains spoilers for Love Is Blind Season 5 Episodes 1-4.]
Uche and Lydia from ‘Love Is Blind’ Season 5 dated before the show
Every season of Love Is Blind is filmed in a different city. The first season took place in Atlanta, with subsequent seasons filming in Chicago, Dallas, and Seattle. Season 5 is set in Houston.
Given that the show pulls from a pool of singles in their 20s and 30s who all live in the same geographic area, it seems inevitable that, eventually, we’d end up in a situation where two cast members knew each other.

In light of the recent legal drama between Michael Oher and the Tuohy family, a 2017 episode of Below Deck featuring Sean Tuohy and Leigh Anne Tuohy in which Sean claims he required script approval for the film The Blind Side has resurfaced on TikTok.
In the clip from user @itsabigailadams, patriarch Sean is discussing how the team behind The Blind Side movie gained the rights to use the Tuohy family’s name.
“The writer of the book, he and I went to school together since we were five years old,” Sean says, referencing writing Michael Lewis, who penned the book that the movie was adapted from. “So I get a call — Steven Spielberg, Harvey Weinstein — I had to give them the rights to use our name, and I said, ‘I’ll give you the rights if I get to read the script and approve it or un-approve it.’ So, sure enough,...

Captain Lee Rosbach once said that Leigh Anne and Sean Tuohy, who rose to fame being portrayed in the book and film The Blind Side, were his favorite Below Deck charter guests of all time.
The Tuohys’ story of how they adopted an underprivileged child who eventually played in the NFL was heartwarming. But now Michael Oher, who the Tuohys claimed to have adopted, said the story was a lie. Oher alleges that the couple lied about their intentions to adopt him, and instead put him in a conservatorship. This essentially removed his legal rights. Oher said he never received any royalties or money from the film.
He is now suing the Tuohys. When asked for his thoughts on the latest news about the couple, Rosbach only said, “They were one of my favorite charters ever.” So why did Rosbach say Leigh Anne and Sean Tuohy were one of his favorites?...

Chase Stokes and Kelsea Ballerini made their red-carpet debut as a couple at the 2023 CMT Music Awards at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, on Sunday.
Ballerini, 29, who was co-hosting the awards ceremony with Kane Brown, walked the aqua carpet alongside Stokes, 30, looking stunning in a sea-green Dolce & Gabbana dress. The country music star completed her look with David Yurman jewelry, clear heels and sleek hair.
Stokes, who opted for a white top, navy pants and a matching short-sleeve shirt, proved to be Ballerini’s biggest fan as he was later seen singing and dancing while she performed her latest single “If You Go Down (I’m Goin’ Down Too).”
Speaking to CMT during the preshow, Ballerini boasted about how happy she is, saying that “this is our first outing, so I’m like, ‘Come on into my world and then bring me into Charleston,’” where Stokes films his Netflix series,...

Country artist Kelsea Ballerini released an EP titled Rolling Up the Welcome Mat on Feb. 14. The EP documents Ballerini’s feelings surrounding her divorce from singer Morgan Evans, and Ballerini also released a short film of the same name to showcase the songs visually. Here are the songs from Rolling Up the Welcome Mat, ranked from worst to best.

There is nothing wrong with the opener of Rolling Up the Welcome Mat, “Mountain With a View.” It sets up the tone of the EP and contains some gut-punching lyrics as Ballerini sings about realizing her marriage is over.
However, as the album’s opener, it is easy for “Mountain With a View” to fall behind some of the songs that follow it.

When Kacey Musgraves bought a home in Nashville in 2020, it felt like a “fresh start” to the country singer. She was fresh out of a divorce from ex Ruston Kelly and wanted a blank slate for her personal touches.
Two years later, she was ready to move again — for a tidy profit. She passed the secluded Nashville home to another country maven. While Kelsea Ballerini, newly divorced herself, might be making herself at home in Musgraves’ old pad, Musgraves likely kept many of the personal, unique touches she put into the home — including a vintage French bed frame that dates back to the 1800s.

Kelsea Ballerini made her “Saturday Night Live” musical guest debut with what appeared to be a slight dig at ex Morgan Evans.
Ballerini, who performed the track, “Blindsided” from her new breakup album, Rolling Up the Welcome Mat, noticeably added some extra lyrics to the end of the song to seemingly take aim at Evans amid their ongoing divorce drama.
Following the final chorus, Ballerini looked straight into the camera, and sang, “Now you’re singing out loud on the radio/You couldn’t say it to my face/You would’ve searched the whole world over/Yeah, sure. Ok.”
She also performed her hit ballad, “Penthouse,” off the same album.
Ballerini’s scorching lyrics come after a bit of back-and-forth between the 29-year-old singer and her ex. Most recently, Evans opened up about the split in a five-part docuseries for his song, “Over for You.” The track, written about the divorce,...

"Protect the package!" Saban Films has unveiled an official trailer for a crime action thriller titled Night of the Sicario, formerly known as Blindsided. They're trying to capitalize on the "Sicario" franchise name, although this has absolutely no connection to those. Natasha Henstridge stars as Taylor, who's forced to hide & protect the young daughter of a Colombian woman in witness protection because she will testify against a powerful drug cartel in Federal Court, while ruthless sicarios aim to take them out. Yet another "deadly game of cat and mouse with the cartel" kind of film. The cast includes Costas Mandylor, Manny Perez, Amanda Diaz, Narci Regina, Addison Kendall, and Martin Peña. This doesn't look so good, not only cheesy but extra derivative action nonsense, but it's always free to watch if you're curious anyway. Here's the first official trailer (+ new poster) for Joth Riggs' Night of the Sicario, direct from...

Patricia Livingstone in Blindsided
Carving out a career in the arts is a already more challenging if one is a woman, and still more so as a lesbian. Add to that the experience of losing one’s sight and hearing and it might seem impossible, but Patricia Livingstone has the kind of creative spirit that it’s impossible to keep down. It’s easy to see why documentarian Lisa Olivieri felt drawn to tell her story. Once she did, it proved to have additional elements that made it much more complex – and more powerful – than she had expected. As preparations were made for the resulting film to screen at this year’s Scottish Queer International Film Festival, Lisa and I met to discuss how it all came about.
“I met Patricia, I think in like, 1996,” she says. “And when I met her, she was living with Karen. They were friends.

Thanks to the power of Netflix’s reach, the women of “Selling Sunset” are getting pretty famous. While two of their significant others beat them to celebrity status, three seasons into the real-estate reality show, we’ve yet to see those men on screen. But Justin Hartley and Tarek El Moussa are mentioned so much they might as well be honorary cast members.
That goose-egg tally of guest appearances may change in the case of HGTV star El Moussa, “Selling Sunset” executive producer Adam Divello teased to TheWrap ahead of his Season 3 premiere — but it seems highly unlikely for Chrishell Stause’s now ex-husband Hartley.
The plot of “Selling Sunset” Season 3, now on Netflix, revolves around two major life moments — and both involve matrimony. First (chronologically), comes Chrishell’s shocking divorce from “This Is Us” star Hartley, and second, Christine Quinn’s over-the-top wedding to tech entrepreneur Christian Richard.

Love is in the air on Season 3 of Netflix’s “Selling Sunset” — and so is the opposite. Over the next run of the reality drama centered on L.A. real-estate agents, Christine Quinn gets married in the most over-the-top way possible, and Chrishell Stause gets “blindsided” by a divorce filing from husband and “This Is Us” star Justin Hartley.
Viewers first learn about the divorce filing through Christine and her TMZ alerts, because it would make sense no other way in this world.
Netflix released the third-season trailer on Friday, and the (melo)drama is not about to dissipate. And yes, the office finally sells that “$44 million” (you’ll understand the quotes when you see the final sale price) house — and gets a big ol’ bell hung and rung to celebrate.

How great were the women on both the Orange and Purple teams on the second episode of “Survivor: Island of the Idols”? We will count the ways in just a second. Heading into the second episode of “Survivor” Season 39, we already knew from the preview trailer that the next unsuspecting castaway to meet Sandra Diaz-Twine and Rob Mariano at the “Island of the Idols” would be Kellee Kim. “Survivor: Island of the Idols” gave us our first glimpse at the eponymous twist of the season, with former winners Rob Mariano and Sandra Diaz-Twine offering game tips to one of the 20 new castaways. Now that we’ve seen how it plays out, is “Island of the Idols” an exciting new twist or, like those giant Rob and Sandra statues, a bust? Vote in our poll below.
