Eliana Jones mini-Alex
RavenGlamDVDCollector6 January 2016
I've been enthusing about this before, but once again, in this episode, it is just simply amazing to see how the casting department outdid themselves finding a suitable youngster to pass off as teenage Alex. Which is an understatement. I wonder if Lyndsy Fonseca herself at that age, if she could have been transported through time, would have been as excellent a choice. Eliana fits in seamlessly in looks and style of acting. Kudos for a job done staggeringly perfect!

And as I've mentioned on my list of Favorite Actresses, Eliana is somebody to watch. The Next Big Thing in the not-too-distant future? You read it here first!

(In response to the single other reviewer, I think Alex is getting disconcertingly too dark, good for the story, the plot, but not for the level of fun it was back in Season One)

So, who's Ramon?
tenshi_ippikiookami20 December 2015
Nikita and Michael discover that an international terrorist named Ramon actually works for Division. Nikita knows him as she was the one that captured him six years ago. So they decide to go to his hide out and get him. At the same time, Alex receives the mission to kill a guy that used to work for her father. Ramon was going to send a message taking credit for this death.

"Nikita" normally keeps the same episode structure, with some action, some flashbacks and lots of talk about the mission and how Division is very bad. This episode doesn't break the rule, which is not bad, as we have cool action, the actors doing a good job, and Nikita being as cool as always. On the other hand, it doesn't break apart from the pack. It is a good enough episode for the start of the second season, but doesn't offer anything really new.

Alex's character development is the most interesting aspect, as she keeps getting darker.
