Excellent episode in Nikita season 2 an action solid packed flick!
ivo-cobra83 May 2016
Nikita The second season in my opinion is honestly much better and solid than the first season was, it has more character development, solid acting performance from the lead cast, you have a lot's of action, love, romance and a lot of spy stuff in here. I love this TV show Nikita so much! I am honest about this, I haven't seen the second season till end or season 3 and 4 but I am going to watch all seasons. I finished previous week season 1 and I am now by season 2. Nikita is becoming now my favorite TV show mainly because I care about the characters what is happening with them and so on. Mostly I fall in love with Lyndsy Fonseca as Alexandra 'Alex' Udinov I care about her character and what will happen with her in the show. I love this reboot I think is MILES way better than original movie or the famous 90's TV Show La Femme Nikita!

Peta Wilson as Nikita, I am going to be straight about this right here: I never cared about Peta Wilson's character or her stupid show! F*** La Femme Nikita (1997)! I only liked the pilot because Peta Wilson did not kill anyone but after that episode she kept killing people that I didn't care for. F*** Peta Wilson! Maggie Q is Miles way cooler and better Nikita than Peta Wilson is, I don't care how Peta Wilson is gorgeous, I cared about her character and it did not worked for me, sorry! I never cared about Roy Dupuis's Michael I hated that character on that show sorry I did! He was mean and ruthless selfish not caring person and honestly Shane West kicks Roy Dupuis ass! I love Shane West and his character, his character is not evil unlike Roy Dupuis + I found Roy Dupuis extremely ugly and unlikable with his long hair! Shane West is a gorgeous handsome caring likable human been. Shane West is MILES way better Michael than Roy Dupuis ever was! Matthew Ferguson was extreme boring as Seymour Birkoff for me unlike Aaron Stanford that I care for. I have rather watched Alias than Le Femme Nikita which Sydney Bristow kicks Peta Wilson's ass even Maggie Q kicks Peta Wilson's ass and Alias was way cooler show than Le Femme Nikita ever was, it is just my opinion.

Partners (Nikita) is the fourth episode in Season 2 and is an excellent solid episode for me, but I think is a bit an underrated episode in the second season. First I love Maggie Q's character Nikita I like how her character find's out about her former partner Kelly, that she is alive and on the run from the law, while Nikita thought for four years that she was dead. When Kelly (gorgeous and wonderful Katheryn Winnick) escapes from Turkish prison, Nikita drops everything for her and fly's to Turkey, tracking down Kelly and helping her, by getting her out of the country away from the division and getting her safe! I liked that Nikita cared about her former friend. I love the plot story and I love the characters including lead in here.

Plot: Nikita is stunned when she hears that her old Division partner Kelly escaped from a Turkish prison. Nikita thought Kelly died years ago and always felt responsible because it happened on the mission where Nikita escaped from Division. Knowing Amanda will go after Kelly, Nikita tells Michael they have to go to Turkey to help her. Amanda sends Alex and Roan to Europe to stop the former partners from reuniting.

I like the plot twist, I thought Alex (beautiful Lyndsy Fonseca) want's revenge on Nikita for killing her father at least I had that idea that Alex turned into evil ruthless killer, but I was wrong in here. When Nikita find out about Kelly's betrayal towards Nikita and that Kelly played her to catch Alex and during their fight Kelly point the gun on Alex trying to shoot her and Nikita points on Kelly and shots her killing her. She protects and saves Alex's life and she admits mistake to Alex, for not telling her the truth about her father, that was her first mistake. Alex covered for Nikita and did not rat her out to the division. I really loved that Michael (Shane West) come's to help and kill's bunch of bad Russian guys and helps Nikita out, I love this so damn much!!!! I love this show to death and I can say an excellent solid episode of the second season for me, I love it! The rating for me is 9/10.

Nikita wants to save the world again
LoveIsAStateOfMind30 December 2015
Warning: Spoilers
First up it was definitely an interesting idea to revisit the case during which Nikita faked her death and made her escape from Division. OF COURSE someone had to get captured/hurt in the process and of course Nikita feels guilty and responsible. Will Nikita ever not feel the need to save the world? Go-Go is working with Zetrov's evil people? TWIST. Is everything entwined with everything else in this show?! On reflection though Russian spies/assassins working with one of Russia's biggest companies isn't that shocking. It just didn't occur to me.

I liked the whole Kelly backstory. Interesting character. It made me sad that she was working for Go-Go and it was all a setup to betray Nikita but it was a clever twist because I really thought that she was another innocent person that Nikita was going to save. I should have learnt my lesson with that episode at the end of last season with that ex-Division agent that Nikita/Michael wanted to save and the twist with that.

The whole train scenes were epic. That fight! Woah! How much rehearsal do you think that took?! So amazing! Oh the whole Nikita / Kelly / Alex thing – it's all so complicated! Nikita wants to save Kelly, Alex has been sent to kill Kelly/Nikita, Kelly wants to kidnap Alex, Nikita wants to save Alex, Michael wants to save Nikita, Nikita kills Kelly to save Alex, Alex looks at Nikita/Michael wistfully.

That Nikita/Alex scene though – I needed a scene like that, it was perfect. First, Alex looking at the tender Nikita/Michael moment <3. Nikita saving Alex's life again, the Go-Go/Zetrov thing is revealed, Nikita asking her to come with her and Michael and that they would protect her and Alex saying she has to go back to Division but it was done in a "they really are the best option to keep me alive" not in a "I'm doing it to spite you Nikita" way. I also liked how Nikita took what Kelly said to her onboard and apologised to Alex for not telling her the truth from the start. Alex needed to hear that. And then she helped them get away. Progress! Michael comforting Nikita. Adorable scene. I love how he appreciates how much Alex means to her and I liked that he told her that Alex is coming around and will hopefully one day join them <3.

As much as Michael/Nikita are OTP and always will be, the Nikita/Alex is the real core relationship of the show. If when the final episode of this show comes, Nikita/Alex aren't hugging it out and being all bffy and adorable I will be heartbroken for a long long time. Whatever happens in between, they have surely got to be as endgame as Nikita/Michael are.

full of inaccuracies

Warning: Spoilers
The opening scene in the episode is labeled Van, Turkey. However, the actual location shown is Kocatepe Mosque in Ankara. I don't know where they get the cars? probably junkyard. When Nikita and Kelly steal the green civilian car, the license plate number is "20 D 9612". Later in the episode, they pull over with a flat tire and the plate number has changed to "50 N 9512". Minutes later, Roan and Alex arrive in an SUV with plate number "20 D 9612", the original plate number on the green car that Nikita and Kelly had stolen. Turkish police cars have blue license plates, but the police cars in this episode have white plates. In Ankara, police license plates begin with the digits 06. However, the digits on license plate on the police car that Nikita and Kelly steal at Gençlik Park in Ankara starts with 46. Later in the episode, the green civilian car that they steal has black license plates, but only government agency cars have black plates in Turkey. Neutralising a police officer in Genclik Park? they are dreaming :) The place labeled Eskisehir is not Eskisehir. I don't know the actual place but Eskisehir is more beautiful than most American and European cities. Search wikipedia for Turkey :)
