"The Exhibitionists" is one of the movies that leave you thinking. Not necessarily because it has such a deep message to share but because its actual message is hard to figure out.

We follow a set of persons, all closely or widely linked to each other, each facing its own demons. As the story unfolds, more and more of what laid under the surface finds its way, complicating the fragile relationships.

Abuse, Betrayal, Psychological breakdowns - "The Exhibitionists" is a dark movie, in which sexuality is only one layer that defines the crisis the protagonists are slowly developing. A movie for adults about adult problems, some within but more often outside of what is considered to be tolerable. Thereby it doesn't look cheap and most often achieves to have the cinematography keeping up with the sinister story.

Not everything about this film pleased me, often I didn't find an emotional connection and some scenes are overdrawn and hardly to be taken serious. But I respect that there was a vision behind this and that producers tried their best to form it.
