The second season is set to broadcast across 28 TBS network stations throughout Japan starting in October 2024. Despite all the criticism directed towards the series’ fanservice and the subsequently worsening animation of the anime, Nakaba Suzuki’s The Seven Deadly Sins is a well-known manga title with a solid fanbase. The series does offer some interesting shonen moments and fans of the series have managed to filter out the not-so-good aspects in order to see the true essence of the story. The manga received a sequel in the form of the Four Knights of the Apocalypse manga, which follows a new generation of heroes while revealing what happens to the old ones.
