A good solid episode, with plenty of action and interaction. I have realised that the absence of the abrasive presence of Agent Hunter made it, for me, more watchable. I have confidence that she's one of the Good Guys - Hetty nominated her for her position in OSP - but somehow she just doesn't fit. Perhaps all will be clarified in a later episode. It was good to see Callen get partial closure as to his history, in the discussion with Hetty at the end. The fact that Hetty could give him no information about his father opens this story line to continue, and further binds our sympathies to Callen.
I wish I knew the song including the line "i wish there was more than this empty feeling" playing over Callen's contemplation at the end - it and the musicians deserve a credit. There are suggestions on the web that it might have been by Zac Brennan, but I haven't been able to find evidence to warrant entering it as a Soundtrack.
