The postman of love~
VioletSakurachan20 October 2012
This is one of the most beautifully shot movies I have yet watched... You know, I watched this movie first time a year ago, and rated it 7, and when I rewatched it yesterday, I was socked how I could have 'insulted' this movie that much, maybe I can say I was not attentive enough during my first watch (though that's a lame excuse, as yesterday my eyes were glued to the screen)... Let's say I wasn't in the right state of mind for this movie at that time... I am glad I suddenly decided to rewatch it yesterday. The cinematography is so perfect, there were scenes my breath was caught somewhere in my throat... The colors (if you decide to watch it just download it, and preferably HD, the bigger the file, the better, trust me) were driving me crazy! The hill on which they placed the mailbox became one of the places I want to visit before I die, it's the most beautiful, peaceful place! The way they shot it at least made me want to go there, sometimes it seemed I could even see the wind blowing the grass and the hair of two lonely characters standing there... The plot is simple, and honestly I didn't need more complicated, as the scenes were so rich visually, other complications were unnecessary... Acting is wonderful! As a big fan of Han Hyo-Joo, one more time came to adore her character. First thing about JaeJoong I noticed was his husky voice, which drove me crazy, I was WAITING for him to talk... I think he was a perfect person to portray JaeJoon... The music is very complimentary to the movie, perfect match... calm, relaxing and light... Also the symbolic meaning of the movie adds to it value so much more... White lies to help people, is it right or wrong? Teaching a lesson by making the person to look at life from a whole another angle of life... Learning how to withstand the difficulties of life from zero... falling in love after being hurt...falling in love...^^

Heaven's Message About Love
karenkkremes1 November 2012
Television movie released on both television and in cinema, Postman to Heaven (천국 의 우편 배달부) is a production between South Korea and Japan.

The film tells the story of JaeJoon (Hero JaeJoong), an angel messenger that has the ability to travel between the real world and heaven delivering letters of people to their deceased loved ones. Character in a fairy tale, he is known as Postman to Heaven and can only be seen by those who suffer the loss of someone he loved. After meeting HaNa (Han HyoJoo), a young woman who sent letters to her deceased husband, JaeJoon hires her as an assistant in their missions to fix the misunderstandings left by deceased relatives families. However, things get complicated when JaeJoon and HaNa fall in love... When HaNa begins to forget her late and unfaithful husband she also begins to lose the ability to see JaeJoon.

Postman to Heaven is a very beautiful and touching film. With a romance that transcends the natural barriers - between an angel and a human - and being so careful about death and mourning, the South Korean production makes anyone sensitized.

The romance between HaNa and JaeJoon happens slowly and subtly, small actions between the couple show how their feelings for each other will grow over time. Highlight to beautiful garden where developed much of the plot. Serving as a backdrop to the most sweet and romantic scenes between JaeJoon and HaNa, the scenario flowered become a character in the story, such impact.

The film gets a more cheerful and beautiful tone when the angel and the young assume their mutual feelings, but it will soon be dismantled by the drama of HaNa in begins to lose her sight of JaeJoon... One of the most beautiful and sad scenes of the film lies precisely in this moment: when the couple is in a coffee shop, HaNa realizes that sometimes cannot see JaeJoon, the pair leaves the site and in a discussion of the problem, the girl says crying at angel than love him and walks away. Simply lovely the couple conversation about the issue, it is hard not to cry in front of the couple's suffering.

From there, the duo knows it's only a matter of time for they cannot see each other forever... And when a mission fails as Postman from Heaven... JaeJoon disappears. But before, he leave a letter to HaNa, in which he recalled that he had said the day he was caught cheating people - he was using lies to alleviate the suffering of families who had lost their relatives - would be the end. It is worth noting the dramatic moment in HaNa stands before JaeJoon, however, cannot see him because he's invisible... Very moving.

With a romantic and touching final scene, Postman to Heaven has a surprising outcome and fulfills its role, Heaven's message about love.

Pulls At The Heartstrings
overseer-39 October 2013
Postman to Heaven aka Heaven's Postman is a film which will take you to another dimension, a twilight zone of romantic lyricism that few films can reach. It's an intimate movie and a thoughtful one. Quiet and pensive, humorous at times, but always deep, because we are dealing here with feelings of loss people have after tragically losing someone they love.

The two stars are perfection: Hyo Ju Han (Spring Waltz) a wonderfully expressive actress with a rare childlike presence, who can show you about twenty different emotions in one ten second close-up, and Jae-Joong Kim (Protect the Boss) who has a sublime dignity and reserve about him which is perfect for the part of the postman. It's difficult to imagine anyone else in their parts.

A simple film but a profound one. I won't talk about the plot here for risk of revealing spoilers but if you are a romantic at heart and consider yourself a spiritual person buy Postman to Heaven and go with the flow. It's a keeper.

Sweet

I watched this a teen while going through a rough time. Even though the movie itself didn't touch on my situation, it really helped me let out some emotions.
