Welp, at least Danielle will finally learn the secret. The first time I watched this series, I don't remember Danielle bothering me at all really. I guess I'm more jaded now. (Partly it's very similar to Chuck.)

First, I have to hope the real CIA is run differently and they wouldn't move a new agent to town without getting them an apartment of their own. Hoping they would never say "get a nosy roommate or go live with overly involved family". Second, Danielle doesn't exactly strike me as someone who can keep a secret, especially on a drunken night out with the girls for example. She's a security risk. Third, on tv the friend/family character who finds out about a spy always then follows a certain predictable trope. Not saying all this will happen to Annie but there's almost always an episode where the friend has to help the spy out in the field with at least one mission. Or an attack inevitably happens at the house. The friend will then perhaps get scared having the spy around & eventually say the spy has to move out. Or the friend/family gets more intrusive and is constantly very worried to the point they want the spy to quit. More drama ensues. Then there's always some colleague reminding the spy "Well at least you have someone who cares about you. You're life is not all about the job." It's tiring.

Adding that I don't quite understand the need for Jai to have hooked up with that woman besides gratuitous sexy times for the audience. However I loved Auggie's speech to Danielle about how crucial it is to protect "art". And his face when he found out about the doctor.
