  [slams his door shut, walks after her] 

  Elena Gilbert : [sobbing]  Stay away from me!

  Stefan Salvatore : Elena, get in the car!

  Elena Gilbert : How could you? My parents died going over this bridge! I almost died.

  [walks off, sobbing] 

  Stefan Salvatore : Destroying Klaus is all I have left.

  Elena Gilbert : [sobs, whirls around]  You had me!

  Stefan Salvatore : [shakes his head]  I lost you the minute I left town with him. You just haven't let yourself admit that yet.

  Elena Gilbert : [frowns]  Is that what you're doing? Trying to make me hate you?

  Stefan Salvatore : [turning away]  I don't really care what you think about me anymore, Elena.

  [goes off] 

• Alaric Saltzman : [jab after jab hits punching bag]  So... what's got you all worked up?

  Elena Gilbert : [in between more jabs]  I didn't really sleep last night.

  Alaric Saltzman : Me neither. Possibly got something to do with dying.

  [sighs] 

• Alaric Saltzman : [as Elena hits and kicks punching bag]  You're gonna put a hole in that thing.
