A Suspect Emerges
Hitchcoc20 January 2017
The episode starts out with Linden getting a call from an attorney concerning joint custody for Jack. Linden knows they may have a case because her police work is occupying all of her time. Stan decides to pick up Belko Royce's body for burial, but Janek has already arranged the funeral. The key element involves the manga tattoo that is in one of the film pieces Rosie made. A guy named Giffords is sought out. He is a product of the broken Foster system which contributed to his getting into a life of crime. Holder is in pursuit of the guy, but he manages to get away. This is a rather plodding episode lacking some of the spark. I'm starting to be concerned about this same murder case lasting through another two seasons after this one. I mean, how many suspects can be cranked through this series.

Not. A. Chance.

Warning: Spoilers
This is beyond absurd. Darren's spinal cord was severed by a bullet, but three days later he's sitting up in bed??? And a physical therapist brings in a wheelchair to take him to occupational therapy??? Hahahahahahaha, no. He would probably still be in ICU, flat on his back until the doctors were satisfied that the cord had fused. Then he would go to a rehab center, where it would take weeks, if not *months* for him to learn to manage now that he's paralyzed from the waist down. Just caring for his colostomy would take time to learn. And let's not forget that he's just had *major* surgery, so there's no way he's feeling this perky.

I can suspend disbelief to a point-I know that this is a made-up story anyway, but a massive fantasy like this is inexcusable. I have no doubt the writers will have Darren back in public and on the campaign trail before long, and that's beyond stupid.

The Polish mob

Warning: Spoilers
Stan might have killed a man when he was in the mob of the restaurant owner guy. They found the guy with the tattoo. He's a foster kid like Linden and his father is the guy whom Stan killed. He had a sketch of the dead girl in his flat. Stan knows the mob had to do something with his daughter's murder because they burnt down Beau Soleil.
