Finally a feel good funny romcom for this summer! Hope it stays as good as episode 1 (so far only episode 1 released as I write this review). This series looks promising with Cemre Baysel acting well as a headstrong, no nonsense, smart female lead. Burak Celik plays the male character who is smart but flirtatious and slightly pompous. Both of them are doctors and will co-manage a big reputable clinic and are at odds with each other. The soundtrack is wonderful and catchy. Reminds me of the early episodes of Bay Yanlis - fast paced and entertaining. Hope this series continue to be good. Happy to give a rating of 8 for episode 1.

This show was my favourite but after the 8-9th episodes it was getting boring, there were too much changes in short period and the story started going nowhere. This is always the sign, something happened in the background and the show will be cancelled soon. Frankly, the story at the beginning looked much better with lots of opportunities. I thought, this will be the new Erkenci Kus, but unfortunately not :( Another thing, it was just a work for the main actors, I did not feel real love chemistry, they did their best but was not enough. I try to forget the last 2 episodes, they were boring and meaningless.
This was a wonderful romantic comedy that ended too soon.

This Turkish romantic comedy could have been called the battle of the gorgeous eyes! Both lead actors have phenomenal eyes and they used them well in the telling of this hate to love romantic comedy. Cemre Baysel, who plays our main character and romantic female lead Efsun, has large green eyes that are the most distinctive characteristic of her face and she uses them to her advantage. Burak Çilek, who played the male romantic lead Emir, had the most gorgeous blue eyes...you could drown in them. The two leads in this short 14 episode romantic series were new to me...but I enjoyed them so much that I sought out other series that they have done in the past and watched them in the course of this 2022 series.
This is the story of Efsun who is a rural doctor practicing in Antep when fellow doctor and plastic surgeon Emir arrives to bring her to Istanbul where her estranged mother, Pervin, blackmails her into covering for her at the plastic surgery clinic that she runs and owns with Emir's father Kaya.
Efsun brings her best friend and trusty nurse, Binnur, with her and she is the only one who knows that Efsun is also a surgeon. Efsun eventually wants the clinic to not only treat the wealthy to their plastic surgeon needs, but treat those who really need it free of charge...like cleft palate repair, etc. She meets with resistance from some of the other clinicians at the clinic.
The series as a whole deals with some topics that I haven't seen dealt with in a Turkish show before...like adoption and alcoholism (Emir and his brother are both adopted and Efsun's father is an alcoholic).
There are some wonderful characters and actors in the supporting cast...Sarp, Kaya, Asli and Efsun's father to name a few. One of the things I really liked and hadn't really seen yet in a Turkish romantic comedy is that the two leads are equals...both doctors, both surgeons...one wasn't the boss of the other or wealthier or smarter than the other, they were equals and as such partners. It created a wonderful dynamic and ultimately a great romance.
I only really have two complaints and the first is pretty minor, at the beginning of the series during some of the comedic parts, Cemre who played Efsun did a bit of overly dramatic face-pulling that seemed really out of place in the series and for her professional character. That disappeared as the series went on...so really just a minor complaint from me. The only other complaint I have is the ending...it was very rushed and left some loose ends, I understand it was probably hard to wrap up the series so quickly once it was cancelled...but it seems weird that Emir wouldn't try to have their parents at a wedding. (I can't imagine his mother forgiving him!) As a fan of their romantic story I missed the actual "Evet!" and any kind of real kiss in the last episode.
Having said all of that, I think the leads and the story were very good and I strongly recommend this short run (14 episode) Turkish Romantic Comedy to all romantics and Turkish series fans (I know dramas are more popular in Turkey...but really, you should give this one a try). I for one will be looking for both Cemre and Burak in other series, they really were wonderful.

Really pleased with the first episode. LOVED the overall storyline - very different from the average office romance stories. Cemre was of course a joy look at on screen, her acting never ceases to amaze me. Can't wait for the rest of episodes, wish I didn't have to wait!

You know how in summer everything that you usually watch takes a break, this happened with tons of series/shows I follow and then "Senden daha güzel" came. I loved it. Last week when I found out that they are canceling it, I was sad, but come to think of it, it made sense, after 12 episodes the series wasn't going anywhere. Even though the start was good, it needed something else. Yes, Efsun took over the clinic, she wanted to give free services to those in need, but otherwise it was really stale. Emir was and is jealous of everyone, that part is cute, but otherwise what was supposed to happen? There was no progress. I just watched the last episode, 14, and it was the most boring one ever. In a way, no wonder they canceled it. I wish it only had a different plot. They rushed things in the last episode, Emir and Efsun got married, but it was only probably so that the the public doesn't get upset if it ended without them getting married, but it made zero sense, they only kissed once before getting married. And Emir becoming a farmer also makes zero sense, he grew up in the city, as a surgeon, a fancy guy, how does he even know how to fix things and so on? It's not that logical... There are a few plot holes, too... So, my rating is 7, it could've been better.

The main leads is bad and can't act whatsoever, just screaming and fighting, their characters was written in a very juvenile way not as mature doctors. Not to mention the terrible mistakes they did as professional doctors, which made me realize that being doctors was just a theme with no point or any medical reference. I have no idea why the male lead is shirtless half of the time in every episode and what about those accidental close up scenes between the main leads every once in while.

To be honest, it was good - not great but good, till they decided to go "chinese drama style" with this one.
So the main leads were in love, we know it, they know it and then the ex wife comes in, fakes a deadly illness and the FL just backs away. The ML NEVER showed any romatic interest in the ex wife but the FL backs away. The ML confesses his love for her but she backs away, because the ex wife begged her to.
This is so typical for chinese dramas....seen this plot twist hundreds of times already so I just rolled my eyes.
They already had enough drama in this one, the ex wife was not needed but whatever...dropped after that, did not need to watch the last episodes full of missunderstandings for a few happy minutes at the end.

I've been in love with this show since the first episode. The main characters have amazing chemistry, and I also like the actors who were chosen for supporting roles. I wish success to the whole team, they deserve it.

Why do all these female characters act so childish? You can fight without slapping a man or throwing coffee on him. So immature. And a Dr belittling colleagues in front of patients...barging into an office while a patient is undressed or getting treatment... This whole show just screams tacky. But this is the type of show that will be popular in Turkey and continue for 100+ episodes...to entertain the brainless.

I watched this show from episode 1 and I was excited to see Cemre Baysel (I loved her in Baht Oyunu and Ramo). However watching last night's episode (7) I can say that I got annoyed at her performance. I am tired of her screaming and antics. A strong female lead doesn't use violence as a way to show that she is a strong female lead. Slapping a man is violence by the way.
The main character was supposed to have studied in the US. If she really did that then make them speak more English. I will not be watching this show further.

I'm from Malaysia...Cemre and burak their acting skillss was really super and they so beautiful,I really enjoy watch this drama. They fight athe same time they have feeling between each other..This drama make me happy and a bit I laughed because of some scene funny...and love this male lead and female lead..I really hope they will act again in new project because this drama got another 2 episode..I really gonna miss thiisss.... But I really loveee thiss dramas..and will be sad at the same time because it's gonna end soon.... I will give 10/10. Pls give them awards...

Absolutely love Cemre but this show was a little boring. Just my opinion. Things lost focus really quickly and it was just kind of everywhere and nowhere. There was nothing super interesting to grasp my attention and there is not anything that makes it really unique. I got tired of it really quickly. Overall it is an okay show to watch if you have nothing else but there are many better shows out there. There is loose plot holes and was soooo slow in the beginning but then all of a sudden was super rushed. I didn't like the inconsistency and the plot in general was just not all that. Also side note why did emir constantly have his shirt off? It was just weird.

Cemre Definitely Makes It Worth Watching

I am really enjoying this series and it gets better every week.
Notes: I was not a fan of the superfluous kissing scene in the first show and the very close close-ups that seemed to be placed just so we can gawk and swoon...but with no real reason otherwise. I'm not opposed to a kiss or closeness, but in this case it seemed to have no meaning and came across very fake and dumb. At first, Efsun and Emir didn't convince me of any AUTHENTIC chemistry, but as the weeks go by, that is improving. As their personalities develop, their connection seems more believable. (Actually, the side character, Ali seemed to radiate more passion). All that being said, I still am glued to this show and want to see what happens. I am starting to love Efsun and Emir together as a couple. The development of the relationship is progressing. As I learn more about Emir's background and personality, I like him more and can begin to accept him for my daughter, Efsun :-)
I really like some of the other characters. Efsun and Binnur have a lovely friendship. There are some interesting subplots developing with other characters as well. But there is no denying, Cemre Baysel is the star of this show. Yes, Burak Celik is very handsome and talented, but there is something more authentic about Cemre and her acting doesn't seem like acting most of the time. I especially love her comedic moments.
Some things I would change- though slight: 1)More comedy in general, especially because the cast has so much potential.
2)And if I were working on this script, I would hire someone from the medical community to advise me on making it more realistic because the title "Dr" is really loosely given here.
******On a side note: I was happy about the little Erkenci Kus reunion with Berat Y, Sevinc E, Cihan E, Tugce K, Kimya GA and Anil C. (Did I miss any?!) They will always carry a special place in my heart.

The story is a little old-fashioned, but the beauty and acting of the protagonist conquered me. The kissing scene is eye-catching. The chemistry between the hero and the heroine is very good. Looking forward to the next episode.

Iam from India . I loved the show especially Emel muftoglu episode . Burak and cemre acting is wow bey.... They really rocked every sevens together . The love triangle with Ali brings the burak character out well . Especially the Cemre baysel
mom character played well and headstrong . Gold productions house never disappoint us . Unlike Hanse ercel cemre tried out different characters . Because in most of every dizi handee acts in a centralized attention wagered friend character like a fashion show . Cemre is wow really after baht oynu. Especially burak his attitude is so good.

Been a fan of Rom-coms forever. Loved this romantic comedy! Fun and lighthearted. Definitely an easy watch. Definitely had you coming back each week for more! So sad that Fox decided to cancel this series without giving it the proper ending it deserved. Hoping that the story can be continued through a different network/production company. Loved the story line and writing. Great chemistry between the two lead characters. Great acting skills. Very believable. Supporting actors were all phenomenal. Definitely a well oiled machine. Beautiful scenery and sets. If you choose to watch you will not be disappointed!

This has to be one of the most interesting story lines for a Turkish romantic series. Even though its a hate to love story, I found it really interesting. Also the leads are so good-looking with their piercing eyes that you get mesmerised and just want them to get together. The acting was a bit exaggerated sometimes and the supporting roles were a bit too much sometimes but created some light moments. Not to be petty but the lead actress is so beautiful but the costume designer did her a disservice, the clothes were so so outdated, totally disappointing when it came to the 'wow' moments in every romantic series when the girl finally blows it out of the park for a party or a dinner...Even though she was supposed to be from a rural area, she lived abroad so not an excuse to dress her so badly.... The male lead on the other hand looked like he stepped out of a magazine. Overall, great series, loved it.
