Disturbing plot, plot wasn't even explained, some nice cinematography and realistic characters but skip it.

The opening scene is really corny. All of the transitions in the film are interpretive, in other words, you have to imagine what the likely plot is they don't tell you. I read a description of the plot prior to watching the movie so I knew what was going on, but I think if you skipped reading a description you'd still figure it out no problem. The group of guys playing Marines are realistic, they remind me of the kind of guys you typically see join the Marine Corps, and the typical environment many of them come from, such as Bushwick. The plot didn't really appeal to me, because I'm very patriotic and I don't like to see service members depicted negatively. It is certainly a plot that could actually happen. The implication at the end of the movie was a real turn off, I don't like the message that the movie makers seem to be trying to send. What's even more confusing is the movie is then dedicated to some service members. I only watched because it was 23-24 minutes long, if it was a full movie I would have forwarded through it I wouldn't have watched the whole thing. Although I like some of the cinematography in the film, you could definitely skip it.
