The name behind several hit sitcoms like Dharma & Greg, The Big Bang Theory, and Two and a Half Men, Chuck Lorre, has earned a commendable reputation for his work and is also referred to as the King of Sitcoms. However, his one decision related to one of his most successful shows almost became the costliest decision for the sitcom.

The Big Bang Theory featured an ensemble star cast, every single one of whom fit respectively in their character. However, during the initial auditions, Lorre was doubtful about casting Jim Parsons in the role of Sheldon.

Is the nepo-baby conversation over or have we just landed in a place of acceptance? Ethan Hawke understands the challenge of perception in regards to this identifier and his upcoming collaboration with daughter, Maya Hawke, in the film “Wildcat” — but he’s still pushing audiences to give this Flannery O’Connor biopic a chance. On a recent episode of CNN’s “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?”, Hawke explores different aspects of his career that led him to this moment and why he hopes “Wildcat” will play as more than just a “home movie.”
“The biggest challenge is releasing the movie, giving it to the public, because I knew the dad daughter act is not cute,” the elder Hawke said of his decision to cast his daughter in the biopic, which he directs. “I love working with my daughter. That doesn’t mean somebody should pay money to spend a minute of their time watching.

In 2002, Training Day costars Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke were Oscar-nominated for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor, respectively. Washington won, Hawke did not, losing to Jim Broadbent for his role in Iris.
Hawke said Washington provided some sage advice after he lost.
“You don’t want an award to improve your status. You want to improve the award’s status,” Hawke quoted Washington during his appearance on Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace on Max. “That’s the way he thinks, and that’s what I’m talking about playing with Babe Ruth.”
The latter reference comes from Hawke previously comparing acting with Washington to what it would be like to play baseball with all-time baseball great Ruth. “I think when all is said and done, he’s the greatest actor of our generation,” Hawke said. “The Academy Award has more power because Denzel has a couple. It didn’t elevate who he was.

Larry David Calls Trump “Sick Sociopath” and Claps Back at Chris Wallace Over Net Worth in Interview
Larry David had some blunt words about former President Donald Trump and his ongoing false claims that the 2020 election was stolen, calling the mogul a “little baby,” a “sick man” and a “sociopath” while appearing on Chris Wallace’s new streaming show this week.
David, whose long-running HBO series Curb Your Enthusiasm concludes its 12th and final season April 7, did not hold back while speaking with longtime cable news host Wallace on his new Max series, Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace? The final season’s plot has David’s curmudgeon character becoming a cause célèbre after he’s arrested for offering water to a woman waiting in line to vote in Georgia, referencing a new law there following the 2020 election. (The plot also invoked Trump’s mugshot.)

The ending of When Harry Met Sally was not how it was initially conceived, and director Rob Reiner is opening up about what changed his mind.
In a new interview for Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace, Reiner revealed that the 1989 romantic comedy had a “tearjerking ending.”
“The original ending of the film that we had was that Harry and Sally didn’t get together,” Reiner said on the CNN show.
The film’s ending has Billy Crystal’s Harry see Meg Ryan’s Sally at a New Year’s Eve party, where he declares his love for her. After sharing a kiss, it’s revealed that they go on and get married three months later.
Reiner said he changed the ending after meeting his wife, Michele Singer, who he met during filming. The director that if it hadn’t been for him finding love in real life, Harry and Sally...

It's gotta be tough being any main lead "Star Wars" actor. There's a level of scrutiny that comes with those roles that most other franchises don't have to deal with. Best case scenario is you lose your anonymity for the rest of your life, worst case the fanbase turns on you and there's nowhere for you to escape to. In my generation, it was the criticism of Jake Lloyd in "The Phantom Menace" that had a very negative effect on his private life. In contrast, this generation chased folks like Daisy Ridley and Kelly Marie Tran off of social media entirely.
Even actors that the fans generally seem to like have to take part in these movies knowing that these roles will live with them forever. Adam Driver recently discussed that on "Who's Talking to Chris Wallace" and made mention that ever since "The Force Awakens" came out, he "hears...

Adam Driver has admitted his 'Star Wars' redemption story was never part of the plan. The 'Ferrari' actor has reflected on the original idea for Kylo Ren's character arc, which would have seen the character - who was revealed to be Ben Solo, the son of Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) - become the opposite of Darth Vader by embracing the Dark Side of the Force rather than finding redemption through 'The Last Jedi' and 'The Rise of Skywalker'.Speaking to The Roku Channel's 'The Rich Eisen Show', Driver said: "I had an overall arc in mind that he wanted to do, which then changed."His idea was almost the opposite journey of Vader, where Vader starts the most confident, the most committed to the Dark Side, and by the last movie he's the most vulnerable, and weak,...

It used to be more, but now it’s probably once a month someone will let me know that I killed Han Solo.”Adam reflected on filming the scene, and admitted it wasn't necessarily "tough" but it was “very emotional actually" and he praised his "generous" co-star for guiding him through the moment. He said: “Harrison was so generous and contemplative,...

In the midst of a great debate about the future of the U.S. news business, the British are coming.
Katty Kay, the veteran BBC newscaster, is set to launch a new deep-dive interview program that will take her away — not permanently — from her usual role covering U.S. politics in favor of long-form conversations with interesting figures. In the first nine-episode season of “Influential with Katty Kay,” the journalist will interview actor Wendell Pierce, dancer Misty Copeland and author Ken Follett, among others, all in a longform format that will put emphasis not only on what makes them famous but also some of their interests.

Ken Jennings says his Jeopardy! rivalry with “villain” James Holzhauer is all for show. In a new episode of Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace (streaming now on Max), host Chris Wallace asks Jennings about his on-screen feud with the Jeopardy champ. Jennings says that Holzhauer intentionally created his villain persona like one would in pro wrestling. “Am I crazy or is there a bit of an edge in your rivalry with James Holzhauer or Jeopardy James? It seems like there’s a little bit of an edge there,” Wallace asked the game show host. As Jennings replies: “The thing you have to understand about James is, he decided at one point in preparing for the show that Jeopardy needed a villain. He’s a pro wrestling fan. And he understands that it makes a game exciting when the audience has a rooting interest. And he puts on this persona as an over-the-top,...

Hugh Jackman is officially in Wolverine mode. The actor shared a photo of his daily meal plan as his bulking phase goes into overdrive ahead of filming “Deadpool 3,” in which he will reprise the role of Wolverine opposite Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool. The film marks the first “Deadpool” movie and Jackman’s first time playing Wolverine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“Bulking. A day in the life,” Jackman wrote as a caption while sharing a photo of the six meals he will eat in a given day. “Thank you, Chef Mario, for helping me stay healthy and properly fed whilst… Becoming. Wolverine. Again.”
Jackman’s meals include black bass, Patagonia salmon, two chicken burgers and two grass-fed sirloins. That means Jackson is consuming over 8,000 calories a day now as he gets bulked up for Wolverine. To put that into perspective, Jonathan Majors ate 6,000 calories for four months in order to...

Hugh Jackman admitted that he’s done some things in “Wolverine” that would make his voice teacher in drama school feel dismayed. Horrified, actually.
In an interview with BBC’s “Front Row”, the 54-year-old actor revealed that he damaged his voice screaming and yelling while playing the iconic Marvel character in nine films across more than two decades. It’s a noteworthy admission, considering Jackman relies on his voice for his Broadway and musical performances.
“My falsetto is not as strong as it used to be and that I directly put down to some of the growling and yelling,” said Jackman on the BBC Radio 4 program. “My voice teacher in drama school would’ve been horrified by some of the things I did [in ‘Wolverine’].”

Hugh Jackman has spent over two decades, six movies and two (uncredited) cameos playing Wolverine in the “X-Men” film franchise, and all that superhero growling has taken a toll on the actor’s voice. Jackman revealed on the BBC’s “Front Row” show that playing Wolverine has resulted in permanent damage to his vocal cords.
“I’ve done some damage to my voice with Wolverine. My falsetto is not as strong as it used to be and that I directly put down to some of the growling and yelling,” Jackman said. “My vocal teacher in drama school would’ve been horrified with some of the things I did [as Wolverine].”
Jackman continued, “We learned a technique [in school] of how to shout and how to yell without ruining your voice. However, during Wolverine, I did some screaming and yelling and things that I think did damage to my voice. I’m working on it.

Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds are both getting into superhero shape for “Deadpool 3”, and it’s safe to say there’s some friendly competition at play between the two actors.
On Friday, Feb. 3, Reynolds shared a photo on Instagram Story in which his personal trainer, Don Saladino, looks on while Reynolds builds his bulging biceps by curling 60-lb. dumbbells.

“I’m not training for Deadpool,” Reynolds wrote in the caption. “I’m training to spend several months with @thehughjackman — who’s not as nice as everyone thinks.”
Jackman, fired back with a response, reposting the photo but adding a “Ur cute” heart-shaped sticker.

Last month, Jackman sat down with CNN’s “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace”, to discuss the training regimen he’s undertaking to reprise Wolverine in the upcoming “Deadpool” sequel.

This year marks a decade since “Frozen” was first released in theaters, and CNN’s Chris Wallace still has some questions about the Disney film. Specifically, he’s not totally clear on how the Oscar-winning “Let It Go” was actually an empowering anthem for young women — so he decided to ask Idina Menzel about it directly on a new episode of “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?”
In a new interview posted on Sunday, Wallace discussed the massive impact “Let It Go” had on Menzel’s career, and what impact she herself had on the song..
But, after discussing the mechanics of it, Wallace noted that he was about to make the interview “a little weird” because he had a bone to pick with the song.

Andy Cohen is usually the one asking the questions but the tables were flipped when The Real Housewives executive producer made an appearance on HBO Max’s Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?
Chris Wallace put Cohen in the hot seat when he brought up The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah, who was recently sentenced to 6.5 years in prison after pleading guilty to a telemarketing fraud scheme.
“You’re on the record last November as saying that you hope she would get no jail time,” Wallace said. “And the question I have is, ‘Why would you take her side against the thousands of people she defrauded, including a lot of elderly?'”
Cohen looked perturbed and said, “I think I was hoping she was actually innocent. I wouldn’t have….”
Wallace interjected and reminded the Watch What Happens Live host that Shah had already pleaded guilty at that time.

Guy Fieri has become a culinary meme, winning over millions of fans with his love of greasy spoon diners and his “Flavortown” image. But when interviewed by Chris Wallace on the newsman’s HBO Max show, the discussion quickly turned to the most famous of Fieri’s haters.
In 2012, Fieri opened his first New York restaurant, Guy’s American Kitchen and Bar, in Times Square, prompting a review from New York Times food critic Pete Wells that was quickly exalted by both writers and Fieri detractors as a masterpiece.
“Is the entire restaurant a very expensive piece of conceptual art?” Wells wrote. “Is the shapeless, structureless baked alaska that droops and slumps and collapses while you eat it, or don’t eat it, supposed to be a representation in sugar and eggs of the experience of going insane? Why did the toasted marshmallow taste like fish?”
