Uncoupling celebration ???
garyamiller8 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
The only thing I know that "uncouples" is two train cars. After watching this movie, I wished it was about two train cars. It would have been more enjoyable.

The plot could have been written by a high school composition student, it was so trivial and contrived. Now throw in some gratuitous sex and nudity and you have a real flop.

Two previous sexual abuse victims of two different genders are invited to their mutual perpetrator's home so the three of them can say goodbye forever. Really?? What was the perp thinking?

Oh, I get it! To mend all of their PTSD's. Ok, that's why they have a threesome. Blackmail follows and the two victims live happily ever after.

Throw in some needless flashback scenes to remind us of scenes we have already seen. Perhaps the director thought I fell asleep earlier in the movie. (wished I had).

Sorry but it was a mess. I was generous to give it a 4 only because I watched it until the end hoping for improvement.

Great new opus by Deborah Twiss
vivienvillani-774-1981514 September 2023
This new opus by Deborah Twiss, icon of the independent New York film scene since her directorial debut "A Gun for Jennifer" in 1997, is fascinating by many aspects. As usual, she wrote, directed and acted in it. Among the most impressive aspects is the way the movie combines entertainment and deep reflexions about various overall topics, which is a consistent creative brand of her work. It perfectly fulfills the expectations as an "Erotic Thriller", both in terms of eroticism and crime plot, but also explores important topics like aging, voyeurism, erotic fantasies, double dealing, unethical behavior... all at the same time. Interestingly, the movie has some "European" undertones in the way it deals freely with nudity while always remaining focused on its core topics. It's also a perfect example of how to achieve a successful independent production, by writing for a limited amount of characters and locations and relying on an excellent cast.

Where do I start?

Keeping an eye on this director is something you do because the future is Bright for this one. Sapiosexual is daring, risk-taking, and provides dark impact for filming experience to the viewer. This is one of those films that I would consider a complete package because the directing production, the acting even the cinematic shots, they all fit perfectly. I definitely recommend this film because it's new it's storyline is creative and the finished product is meaningful sapiosexual gets two thumbs up. Kudos to the cast and crew, job well done and I would definitely recommend this film to this who are junkies of the genre.
