This soccer skills series does a fantastic job of blending the charm and wit of star Jay Demerit (Whitecaps captain) with the different exercises that will appeal to soccer players young and pro. The filmmakers did a nice job getting Jay to loosen up by allowing him to move around and play with the ball off the field. Their interview questions with him allow us to get some more insight into the player behind the ball.
The skills portions of the videos are great too. Whether it's working on different warmups, defending a corner kick, or just kicking a ball off of a wall, they do teach a lot, which makes sense as it's a skills video.
And the videos themselves are great too look at. Time lapses combined with on-field action add to high production values. Vancouver gets a nice cameo, which makes sense as Jay plays for the Vancouver Whitecaps.
I recommend this video series to anyone looking for some tips and tricks in soccer. Much better than some of the other skills videos out there!
