Although just less than 4 minutes in duration, it actually captures the main idea. Very funny and entertaining!

'Lie Detector (2011)' does have some bizarre humour and some of its jokes just don't land at all (gay jokes in 2011? I thought we were past that by then, but if we weren't we definitely are now). Still, it's typically a tight and well-written comedy short with a solid underlying premise. It's funny at times and typically charming, too. Plus, it gets in and does what it needs to without wasting anytime. It's enjoyable. 7/10.

"Lie Detector" is an American 4-minute short film from 4 years ago. I am not familiar with any of the directors, writer or cast from this one, but I must say they made a pretty good job here. The joke is almost always the same as the lie detector shows us who isn't telling the truth at this job interview, but at such a little runtime that is not a problem at all in my opinion. It certainly did not (yet) get repetitive. My favorite part was maybe the cancer joke near the end. It's not a politically correct movie by any means, but maybe that is exactly what I liked the most about it. Pretty funny watch and I recommend you to check it out yourself. Thumbs up.
