Ton of film

The cast has good chemestry. This film is a fun goofy comical comedy that doesn't take itself serious. I absolutely love that.

The two security guards, Randy and Luke, play perfectly off of each other, the chemistry between the two are super epic. The supporting cast members are all very genuine and a real joy to watch. As an audience member I really enjoyed the banter and the good times.

Some of the jokes took me by surprise and really made me laugh. And you must make sure to stick around through the credits at the end!

Here's the thing. If you like fun comedy you'll like Access Control is a very enjoyable movie.

Fun Indie, Faith-Based Comedy

Pleasantly surprised by this fun buddy comedy. Solid acting, directing and writing. Never felt distracted by any indie film flaws. Impressed with that this writer-director accomplished without the millions of dollars other films in this genre have at their disposal. Liked that at first the two main characters aren't that likeable but as the film continued, I could warm up to them and really enjoy their challenges and progression through to the end. The detective aspect also really kept me guessing in a good way and I was thrilled by the final resolution. All in all a very solid and enjoyable indie Faith-Based comedy.

Bad story, bad acting, mildly funny dialogue
chewybells13 May 2023
This movie doesn't feel like it really does anything. Most of the conversations feel forced, although there is a little humor in the interactions between the two main guys, but it's pretty childish, and that might not be a big problem if the actors had the over-the-top energy to sell it. It feels like it was written for kids, but even my seven-year-old sister was bored. Plus, every other minute you are bombarded by an on-the-nose rap verse about what the main character is thinking, which is very cheesy. It also has some Christian marriage values shoe-horned in between the lead and his wife, with whom I didn't feel he had much chemistry, and their whole relationship felt like a joke. This movie is not much to write home about, but at least it looked like the actors had fun.

A funny family film

Very good, very funny movie with a great soundtrack and universally applicable message. Great chemistry between cast members!

The two security guards, Randy and Luke, play perfectly off of each other, as do Luke and his wife Candace. The supporting cast members are all very genuine and a real joy to watch. You can sense that they had a lot of fun telling this story together.

Some of the little jokes took me by surprise and really made me laugh. And you must make sure to stick around through the credits at the end!

Overall, Access Control is a very enjoyable movie. You won't regret watching it!

Movie Night?
destinyjnewsome20 February 2023
Loved watching this film! It was a great Christian film with a message for every walk of life. The film provides timely comedic relief while also giving us drama through the journey.

I love a good buddy cop film and Randy and Luke are the perfect duo to carry us through the journey of not only finding the pill thief but finding and being reminded of who Christ is through the relationships he places in our lives.

Director Andrew J Bullard IV took his time with this one! Each character adds to the development of the story and reminds us to not take anything or anyone for granted. The supporting actors/actress all bring their A-game.

Great for a family movie night, church movie night, random movie night, couples movie night, any movie night!

a laugh riot

Before even watching the film I got a Police Academy vibe and I was not disappointed!

Luke is a new security recruit for a hospital's nightshift.

After getting the job we are introduced to his girlfriends who drops some truth bombs about their relationship and she does not hold back.

Luke gets into shenanigans by being lazy, having wild interactions with staff and patients, and sticking his nose where it doesn't belong.

His boss, Randy, is all about rules and reputation which adds to the comedy.

Through all of this is a deranged pill thief that both security guards must team up to try to solve. Who could it be? Will they be able to catch the pill thief?

Finally, a clean comedy!
haventrilogy-8913020 January 2023
It's super hard to find clean comedy these days for the family to watch. And I was happy to be one of the first to see this little gem. Great acting, Andrew Bullard gave a fantastic performance and I highly recommend it. It was shorter feature, but I like that. And I really like the buddy cop theme. It reminded me of a clean version of the old Lethal Weapon movies, and the fun banter was great between the two leads. And there was a little bit of a love story in there, which made was a nice sub plot and I think really helped complete the main character for the story.

If you like comedy, and you want something clean for your kids to watch, Access Control is a great choice.
