Sex & Nudity

  • Season 2 has frequent sex scenes varying in degree, length, and clarity.
  • A flashback contains a naked woman from side briefly
  • Weird orgy with female full frontal Nudity only glimpses
  • A man and woman have sex in a few positions, woman is nude, her breasts and body show, the male is nude but the woman's body covers him so nothing but his upper body is shown. The scene lasts for a few minutes.
  • A graphic sex scene with two men. Full frontal nudity seen - this scene is prolonged and graphic for several minutes
  • Explicit acts of prostitution. In the show there are divine characters of fallen love who engage in prostitution to survive. Season one is full of it.
  • There is an orgy with its naked participants; exposed breasts and buttocks, but somewhat darkened. Then the nude crowd proceeds to lift a nude woman with her hands, exposing her.
  • Much nudity. Sexual references are discussed in tons. A man undresses in front of a woman to have intercourse; only her butt is shown.
  • Emily Browning Is seen fully naked some seconds
  • In the series it is hinted that some of its characters who are gods have worldly sexual desires.
  • Media asks a man if he wants to see his breasts. Nothing of the kind happens.
  • There are multiple instances of Sex and Nudity throughout the series. Sex scenes containing female and male full frontal nudity, sexual acts, passionate kissing, and implied oral sex are not uncommon.
  • Season 1: Numerous sexual situations in most episodes. There are several sex scenes in which the same woman has sex with different men and women. Several different women are shown topless and nude only from the side. Passionate kissing between the woman and her male and female lovers is shown as well as sexual movement. Full frontal female nudity is shown. Also, a close-up picture of a man's aroused genitals is shown twice. A woman gives a man oral sex, but only his facial expressions and the top of her head is shown. Shocker no vaginas are seen!

Violence & Gore

  • Season 1: Several humanoid figures are brutally murdered, with beheadings, stabbings, beatings, dismemberment, etc. A large amount of blood flies out in slow motion and then falls to the ground, turning it red.
  • Several individuals lynch a man until he bleeds and hangs him from a tree. It's terrifying.
  • Mr. Wednesday slits a character's throat. You can see his throat being slit and bleeding, but not very graphic.
  • There's a case of the murder of several cops. Their bleeding corpses are shown.
  • Implicit or moderate violence in some episodes. The two-man fight in a bar is kind of rough and bloody. The jaw of one of the subjects releases blood. Then one of them is thrown against some furniture.
  • There are multiple occasions of bloody violence throughout the series.
  • Season 1: Bloody violence is a common theme across the season. The most explicit examples include multiple men have their eyes gouged swiftly with a hot knife. Among the gory images glimpsed are: a man's head split in half by a sword blow in a shower of blood, a man's severed arm flying free from his body and spinning through the air while spraying blood, and many bloody impalings and stabbings. A fight sequence is portrayed involving a great deal of gore. A man has his head knocked off with blood spray. A man has a gory hole punched through his chest and the camera does not blink as a fist bursts out his back. A woman has her arm whacked with a crowbar. A man is graphically split in half and his organs and spine are visible. Much blood is shown flying in all directions throughout this scene even when the actual violence is not visible.

Profanity

  • In the second season, the n-word is used.
  • Season 1: has 213 uses of the f-word 64 uses of the s-word 3 uses of the c-word 21 uses of the word d-mn 25 uses of the a-word
  • Season 2: has 225 uses of the f-word 38 uses of the s-word 10 uses of the c-word for women 16 uses of the a-word
  • Total: 678 F-bombs.
  • Season 3: 235 F-bombs
  • Many f-words, s-words, obscenities and profanities. Infrequent uses of the c-word occur as well.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Czernobog heavily smokes in nearly every scene he is in.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The scene of the violent lynching of a man, where he tries unsuccessfully to defend himself while being hanged and kicked could be overwhelming and difficult for many to digest.
