You better start reading those iTunes agreements!

As for today this is the only episode from season 15 that I've seen; but that will fortunately change just now as my Blu-Ray set of it arrived today in the mail. I'm kind of excited since this was the first season since the second run of the twelfth that, for whatever reason, I didn't enjoyed online (watching each episode just some hours after their US premiere, as you know) – I only watched this episode back when it was brand-new and I don't remember enjoying it a lot like I just had with this second viewing.

Season 15 begins with an episode of two subplots, that teach us how to make a simple joke work many times. My favorite part of this show comes thanks to that simple joke (sort of a hardcore one!), from the subplot that involves Cartman and his mother. It's simply hilarious material and I think you can resume Cartman with just the first minutes of this subplot; what we have here is a familiar kind of thing as he is dying for an iPad (just like once he was for a Sony PSP and a Nintendo Wii!), and he obviously will not accept the fact that his mother simply can't afford that Apple device (which of course had just been released at the time this episode aired).

The other subplot deals with Apple stuff, Steve Jobs (who, as I guess you know, passed away just months after the release of "HUMANCENTiPAD") and Kyle. You can expect the usual SOUTH PARK take on something as big as Apple; it made me think in their take on Facebook from the previous season, as is just as accurate, funny and f***** up! Any user of Apple stuff like iTunes will certainly relate to this show. And it makes fun of a movie called THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE (FIRST SEQUENCE); I had never hear of it before, and is worth noting that Trey Parker says on the commentary track that it is just a dumb movie. Anyway, check this one out, and start reading those iTunes agreements!

What a start!

Warning: Spoilers
Really, what a start! This episode really indicates how comedy should be and how it hasn't been on TV lately. Everything on this episode is pure gold, from Eric's almost 30 types of using "F**k" me sentences to Kyle's accidental Agreement.

So this is to all you PG-TV watchers with your precious Glee songs; watch this episode and learn what you've been missing out on all these years!

So, Eric wants to buy an iPad to show off to that a**hole Kyle but his mom says it's too expensive and this causes Eric to start mouthing off about how his mom keeps f**king him and this goes on for a while until he does this in public and then runs off to a policeman and ...

Just having read this half of the story, if you're not curious enough to watch the episode, you really lack a sense of humor and I haven't yet begun with the second half.

What most surprises me about this show is how Trey Parker and Matt Stone don't seem to run out of ideas and how every little joke gets used so many times and still feels so fresh.

Again, watch this episode and learn how comedy should be; dirty and out of mind!

The best South Park, at last....
ld_ross28 April 2011
The previous season, was very good. I mean, there's no such thing as a bad South Park season (for me, there's not even a truly bad episode), but there are seasons better than others, and the 14th is not the best of all. There are really good episodes, like "Medicinal Fried Chicken" , "200" and 201". But I think, the 14th lacked of episodes like this one here, "HUMANCENTiPAD", which combines all the elements that makes South Park the best animated series of its era; scatological humour and shock value, a recurring sketch or comedic formula through the episode (Like 3,50 on "The Succubus", here involves Cartman and his mom, can't tell more), an edgy plot and totally surreal or nonsensical situations. It's all here! A delicious half-hour, disgustingly funny and absurd. Pure South Park. Pure comedy. Easily, one of the best episodes in a long time, and a dangerous way to open the season, because they should make an effort if they want to overcome this episode. Cheers for the HUMANCENTiPAD of Stone and Parker.

Too Much Toilet Humor...
CoraTree29 April 2011
If your a fan you should watch it. It will satisfy your urge for more South Park.

As the series opener its not satisfying. With so many story lines that could be explored and so many new scandals to rip on. I'm clueless as to why they did a toilet humor iPad episode.

Making fun of the iPad is not that revolutionary. Plus, the episode is almost a complete knockoff of the movie it's named after.

Seems like lazy writing.

The Simpsons did a much better job of making fun of Apple back in 2008 (Mypods and Boomsticks, S20E07)

While there some funny moments, too many jokes relied on shock value. I appreciate good toilet humor and shocking jokes, but at a certain point it gets disgusting or ineffective.

I like when South Park uses it a couple times during a episode, but at a certain point it makes you want to hurl. Especially when it does nothing to advance the story.

It's a worth a watch in general, due to the fact it does generate laughs.

Even so, when you have such short seasons like South Park, it seems like a wasted episode.

So I'll rate it 6/10.

It CAN'T just be me...

While watching HUMANCENTiPAD and particularly the scenes and moments where Eric accuses Liane of ****ing him, did anyone else get reminded of the Jocasta complex? It can't just be me, right? Hello?

Oh damn not the awkward silence again! :/
