Managed to blend the drama & comedy quite perfectly
MichaelNontonMulu2 May 2022
To my surprise I found myself to be enjoying this film a lot more than I expected. It has plenty of great family values with enough comedy that would please you along the way to its ultimate, albeit simplistic conclusion. The acting of the cast were very natural with the support cast providing well written jokes, no doubt due to the brilliance of Muhadkly Acho & Ernest Prakasa (as co-writer). It was a movie that managed to balance the drama, comedy and emotional moments quite perfectly and would satisfy fans of Indonesian smart dramedy, including me and my wife who were really entertained.

One of best film of the year
hakimsatrio14 May 2022
From the beginning of the story it has been described how the parents take sides with their children and its continue until they are adults. Each character can also play their role as well. One of the most important and interesting points in this film is how they can make the audience happy and sad at the same time. Watching this film is like riding a roller coaster, the comedy and drama portions are fill each other.

Well this is really great movie and worth to watch.

Surprisingly good!

At first, I thought this movie would be absurd with a mediocre plot. But after I saw it, it turned otherwise. I was made to cry and laugh at the same time while watching this movie. In this movie, many moral values are conveyed through the family, interspersed with the comedy of the guesthouse workers.

Ira Wibowo is criminally underused

The constant struggle to balance comedy and drama suffer Gara-Gara Warisan a lot. While there's an occasional laugh and tears, nothing particularly stands out and most part of the film is blatantly annoying and rambling. It's a shame because the film actually has an interesting idea to tell. Ira Wibowo is criminally underused.
