Las Vegas / Las Vecas
LoveIsAStateOfMind29 December 2015
Warning: Spoilers
The Little Old Lady just completely stole the show.

I don't even know where to start! How about the Las Vegas / Las Vecas thing? I found that legitimately funny. Pure magic! The tone of the comedy in this show exactly suits what I like and that's why I love it so. Sidenote: I love the camera angles in this episode, for example when Awesome was explaining about Las Vecas ...... and again with Ellie/Sarah. I can't describe it but if you've seen the episode then you know what I mean.

Sarah/the strippers ........ boy I don't think I've ever seen anyone look so uncomfortable!! ["Ooh is that a gun? No."] <- just the way she said that line made me crack up! I LOVE THAT ELLIE FINALLY KNOWS THE WHOLE TRUTH ABOUT CHUCK!!!! And she's been into Castle <3. I love that there are finally no secrets between Chuck/Ellie for the first time since the Pilot.

And then we come to the Agent X's mother. Oh dear Lord, best minor character EVER. The way she was with Chuck, the way she was with Casey - the fact that she got so much of Casey's admiration! THE GRENADE AND THE KNITTING WOOL!!!!!!!! Question: why is Volkoff's lawyer guy driving a car with the steering wheel on the left if they're in England??? Also, I am pretty sure you'll never see a car like that on the streets over here unless it's an import.

I KNEW THAT VOLKOFF WOULD BE AGENT X!!!!!! I mean obviously at first I thought there would be a chance that Agent X was referring to Chuck but then I knew the only option left would be Volkoff. How does Chuck's Mum fit into all of this?

Underrated

Idk how this is only a 8.6 out of 10. This is one of the best episodes IMO. Everyone is in it, the different plots, the build up of what's to come. The surprises.

Wonderful Episode!

This episode has it all! The British lady was hilarious, and the way Casey admired her was too funny!

Finally, Chuck and Ellie are honest with each other. Now there are no more secrets between them. So that's great!

The sword scene was so funny! Chuck showing off the intersect to Ellie, then cutting off Morgan's sleeves!!! 😂 No cringe moments here at all (sarahm17). Loved it!!!!!

Agent X is discovered, which is a nice plot twist. I didn't see it coming.

The characters have all grown so much over the seasons. The story plots have only gotten better. Relationships are the way we all want them to be. What's going to happen next???

The smoking gun...
skay_baltimore7 August 2022
Aside from the fact that Mrs. Winterbottom is da bomb (literally and figuratively), this episode has the usual mind numbing "off the reservation" hijinks. But more importantly, it FINALLY ties everything together. Major props for doing that; a few points deducted for the absurdity of most of the rest of the episode.

The stage is now set for where and how it all goes from here. The bar so far this season has been set pretty low, so it shouldn't be a great feat to end on a high note. We'll see.

Wanted to rate this higher but there's too many cringe moments

God I cannot get past the sword scene of Chuck showing Ellie the intersect. The way it's shot is horrible. I guess they did that to cover up the fact that it's not impressive. He literally goes in circles with a sword and does a cart wheel. Wow!! Then cuts Morgan's sleeves off. Like please.. And the camera angle made my head spin. It wasn't even laughable I was just like really?? The music with Ellie looking at him trying to be emotional. I literally could not take it seriously. They tried to make it an emotional heartfelt moment but it was just horrible. Especially since it's supposed to be what the whole shows about. You'd think it would've been a better moment. What even was that? Let's not forget Sarah's scene when she's pretending to be British. No wonder the old women found out fast and the green screen of the English countryside couldn't have been more obvious and then you have Jeff, Lester and Mike the car green screen as well bothered me. Everything just looked so fake. I gave it a higher rating because the acting especially towards the end is improved.

I will say that I like the vibe of this episode. Besides some cringe moments it's a bit more serious which I like and it has some good action, the dialogue is a little better but I can't get over how fake a lot of it looks. It's still an improvement though but it did feel rushed, especially the scenes in England.
