The net may be closing in on the people attempting to stop the Anglo-Russian intelligence cooperation but that doesn't mean that other threats have gone; this week the team must prevent an Al Qaeda type suicide bombing in central London. They have a man on the inside but he is getting cold feet because MI5's promise to bring his daughter to the UK has not materialised. As the moment of the attack approaches he learns that she is in imminent danger; his isn't the only young daughter in danger though; the terrorists have known who Erin was from the start!
This was another thrilling episode which showed that the good guys can be duplicitous when dealing with their assets but equally that they have human frailties too after all what mother wouldn't want to do whatever it took to save her child even if a greater number of people were endangered; Lara Pulver brought genuine emotion to the role of Erin. The ending played out well and managed to be somewhat shocking even though it was almost inevitable once the operation had started.
