I had the opportunity to see this film in XXIX Festival De cine De Bogota, Carmen G demonstrates the excellent quality of Colombian cinema is being done right now. Carmen G, is a Colombian peasant who flees violence to attack us for so many years here in Colombia, she travels to New York with her baby, with many dreams and illusions. On his first night in New York these dreams and illusions, completely change your life, this is where there is an intense story of a Colombian woman in the United States, which has drama, suspense and some fiction. ********* I recommend this Colombian movie is excellent! It has nothing to do with common Colombian films, contrary has very good photography, music, acting, directing, scripts etc ... I hope to present in Colombia again because it bears repeating.

" Carmen G" This is an Independent Film industry work , with a lot of work in sound, color, acting, script and music. The sound is very good and is very appropriate for a theater. The Color in the movie is fantastic. Acting is one of the more important things in any film and in " Carmen G" is very good, for me the work of the leading actress" Pierangeli Llinas" is excellent. The script is very nice with some fiction parts and other very real ( Breast Cancer, Immigration, discrimination and much more) . Finally the music is original very colorful and amazing for an independent film. Amazing piece of art. I recommend this film to anyone who is interested in seeing a high quality independent film, full of emotions and sensations. This is a film that will enrich your life.

The filmmakers showed the tragedy of a person who is in much pain. When someone loses a loved one, they often can't rest, and this was depicted well by displaying Carmen's hurt and confusion. When watching the film, you feel concerned for her well-being every step of the way. And, the entire cast was believable in their depictions. Carmen G is "A true Hispanic film, the movie could be located just about anywhere in Latin America , Is one of the most influential and incendiary World Cinemas !!! Must surely be Latin and Spanish Cinema. Carmem G share a sense of the grittiness of the so called Cinema, this truth movie with a beauty and melodrama which seems to be as much a part of their day to day life .They evoke images of passion, color, and a visual veracity all of their own . the film that most people associate with Latin cinema's it is a sometimes complex work with very emotions .Carmem G is perhaps the film's greatest achievement." great indie film

This is a very good little independent film. The story blew me away, all the way until the end. I wish more big studio films had the sensitivity and story telling ideas this film had. This film reminded me of "Maria Full of grace" an immigrant story set in Jackson heights. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find a film about Colombian immigrants in the U.S that had nothing to do with drug trafficking. The acting was very natural and sincere the lead actress Pierangeli did a wonderful job driving this story. Surrounded by a great supporting cast and most noted a very strong performance from Maria Cecilia Sanchez as (Charon). I would definitely recommend this film. If you are in the mood for a good story with some nice twists all the way until the end, go see this film.

" Carmen G" I do believe that many people has a history like that. Means something that is carried out all the life and it makes a crazy fact. The creativity of the screenplay and the effects added for that interesting cast around the protagonist, with people from several countries from different countries and cultures, makes a multi cultural encounter around the creativity. The sound and the music is appropriate and also shows a multicultural performance making it very rich. The Color and the photography in the movie looks nice.

I went to a theater looking for entertaining and I found "Carmen G" a little sad but all the time under the drama, with reflections around social behavior which made it interesting, so I do recommend you to fallow where is going to be next "Carmen G" in theaters, this time was in Los Angeles at Norwalk where I enjoy this one.

Carmen G is a very good movie. This movie has drama, fiction and a great social message, (Breast Cancer, Immigration). I think that is a very good movie. I think a is reality, with a bit of fiction. It has a excellent cast and very talented protagonist, made ​​me laugh and cry several times. I see his transformation gradually. The movie has very good shots of New York and photography. It has a very clear message, about immigration and the difficulties that illegal immigrants suffer. I believe that is an eye opener for many who do not know the suffering of illegals immigrants in U.S.A.

I recommend it to everyone.

As producer of the movie "Carmen G", creator of the story and lead actress, I think that "Carmen G" is the kind of work, that all actress will love to interpret. "Carmen G" is a humble women, full love, naive and much more. As a producer, I thank all sponsors and people who believed in this project. Every time I sit in a theater to see "Carmen G", I feel very proud. In Los Angeles was a complete success and as well as in New York, Boston, Chicago. I want to thank The Indie Fest California for the award for best leading actress 2012. I directed the third cut of the story. I thank all the actors and families involve in " Carmen G", right know, I'm working in my second film as a producer and I wish that "Salome" will capture your attention too. Thanks U.S.A - ColombiaSynopsis: Carmen is a Latin-American peasant who immigrated to the United States to give her baby a better life. But in her first night in NY goes something wrong with her child and from there the story of Carmen, focuses on the search for his son, forgetting her life and health.

Film Carmen G, I saw this movie at a film festival in New York and is a very good movie, has magnificent color, sound and music. His story is very nice, the actors are very good too.

Is an independent film, made in New York, with actors of different nationalities. The music is very touching and appropriate for the movie. The locations are very appropriate for the story, such as Central Park and the hospital. The makeup of Virgil, impacts me which seems very real, also the make up of the protagonist, especially in the end. also make your comment for the movie. I recommend this film who sees worldwide.

When is it going to play in Brazil? It is too good, it has to be here in the movies so that more people can see it! The movie has a great story and the lead actress is remarkable. I am really looking forward to seeing other pictures with her. Besides, the plot is extremely touching.

This is a great must watch movie. "Carmen G" must be in movie theaters through out the New York State area and more. The acting and the story on this movie I excellent. drama, thriller and suspense all in one and a story of a poor family trying to make it in New York it's just a great movie to watch.
