Beth sits by her husbands grave - reminiscing and sharing stories - funny and sad. She then confesses she has been given the diagnosis of dementia and Alzheimer's and goes on to explain how this might effect her. The film explores how a dementia sufferer can appear 'young again' when talking about their past or talking with a certain person. As Beth tells her husband how her life must change we see on screen a young woman. When she finishes and stands to leave, we see a lady in her 70's. Memorial challenges our perceptions of the elderly and what they go through.
