Ehh. Okay I Guess.

This movie did have a few good things about it. First of all, it didn't use a ton of sexual scenes or show a rediculous amount of boobs to try and keep the audience entertained. Finally a spoof that works as a story other than a cestpool of teenage sex scenes.

The only annoying part about this movie was the kid that constantly yells all the time. It almost is enough to assault your friggin skull. They could've did without that moron in the script.

I gave this a mediocre rating because it was pretty descent and actually had an original plot, unlike most spoofs. The acting also didn't utterly suck, again unlike most spoofs.

I'd say this movie is good for a one time watch. 5/10.

Bore Me Now...

As I sat down in 2021 to watch the 2012 horror comedy, I must admit that I was expecting more than what writer Michael Swaim and director Travis Long actually managed to deliver.

Sure, I hadn't even heard about "Kill Me Now" as I sat down to watch it 9 years after it was released. But the synopsis for the movie sounded like it could be a fun enough horror comedy. So of course I sat down to watch it.

And let me just be the first to say that it was definitely a struggle to sit through this movie. Especially since the movie's storyline and plot was just utterly boring and bland. So it didn't really bring much of any entertainment to the table for me.

The acting in the movie was for the most parts adequate enough, especially when you take into consideration that the actors and actresses had so very little to work with in terms of a good storyline, an interesting script or colorful characters.

For a horror comedy, then I have to admit that the comedy was near non-existing and I actually didn't even laugh a single time throughout the course of this movie. And as for the horror parts? Well, don't get your hopes up. This 2012 movie from director Travis Long was, at best, just another run-of-the-mill alone in a remote cabin with a killer on the grounds.

Sure, the production value in the movie was good, but production value can only do so much for a movie, especially when there was no proper storyline, characters, killings or much of anything else.

And while we are on the killer. Seriously? The killer in this movie was a farce. Nothing scary, much less funny about the Driller Killer.

If you enjoy horror comedies, then do yourself a favor and skip on "Kill Me Now", unless you are looking to be bored to sleep.

My rating of "Kill Me Now" lands on a generous three out of ten stars.

Best movie about teenagers portrayed by twenty-somethings

I was lucky enough to see this film with one of the stars (Nick Mundy) at the Houston showing a few months ago and I have to say that upon further re-viewing that this is the most hilarious movie about teenagers portrayed by twenty-somethings.

The opening and initial "cool kid" party theme is top notch, too bad it wasn't in 3D because I really wanted to see some 3D keg stands. But seriously, the writing what I watched it for and the people involved are really hilarious and I can't wait to see them in more movies. If you thought Scream (and movies like Scream) was lame because of the 1 dimensional characters and bland story telling you won't be disappointed by "Kill Me Now". It's like if Kevin Smith wrote Mallrats with Ben Affleck as a serial killer instead of a serial ass fuckist.

My favorite line in the movie that I quote to this day is "Stop being a suicide girl!".

What parody should be.

While other parody films these days just cram in a bunch of celebrity cameos and meta references that are dated by the time the movies hit DVD, Kill Me Now sets out to achieve it's goals.

With a cast of 30 somethings pretending to be twenty somethings playing teenagers and a refined killer who is clearly annoyed by the stupidity around him, you get a movie that is honestly funny because everyone plays it totally straight and serious.

I highly recommend it to anyone who has a chance to see it.

I'm going to watch this tonight, or maybe tomorrow.

My girlfriend is watching hockey in the living room, but i have 2 tvs and a girlfriend, so we can do both at once without disturbing each other.

She watches sports, but is also smart and funny.

But, me, i like watching films from beginning to to end.

She's pretty, too.

Ok, off to watch kill me now 1!

Unless i wait till tomorrow, but either way 10/10.
