DISPOSABLE is a small town mystery that plays out on an indie budget. It strives to deal with some of the social issues of the day, such as disaffected youth, and thus comes across as having a bit more depth than most films associated with this low-rent genre. The main character is a young girl who has spent most of her days in one orphanage or another, but when the town's youths begin to be killed in mysterious ways, she believes a serial killer is at work. The girl's fondness for archery comes in handy during the film's climax. Although it has all of the usual problems of the indie film, including some particularly poor acting on the part of the villain, this is a bit more endearing than most.

THE MAN THE MYTH THE MILAS

Reverend Rick Milas plays an indispensible role in the movie Disposable. I haven't seen the movie myself, but I can vouch that this absolute UNIT of a pastor belongs in every sequel that will never be made. Praise be, love ya Rick.
