Good morning!
Katee Sackhoff talked with Collider about her bisexual psycho role in Sexy Evil Genius. She was asked if her character is actually crazy or just really good at manipulating her exes:
Isn’t that the question, though? Some of the craziest people I’ve met, in my life, are some of the most brilliant people I’ve met. It’s almost as if they get bored in their own brain and they have to come up with this craziness to stay interested in life. So, I don’t know. I still don’t know. I think that’s up to the viewer. I think there’s probably little bits of both inside of her, for sure.
You can find Sexy Evil Genius on DVD, digital download or VOD.

If you’re a writer (or really, work in any profession at all) and find yourself complaining about how hard your life and job are, watch this incredible video and get a dose of perspective. Screenwriter Scott Lew was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease back in 2004 – a horrible affliction that has left the scribe as a mute pentaplegic (which means he can’t move his limbs or neck). While many of us would give up all hope if we found ourselves in that situation, Lew has miraculously kept working – and his newest project, Sexy Evil Genius, is out on DVD and VOD today. Lew’s situation is chronicled in a documentary entitled Jiujitsu-ing Reality, which is included on the disc. /Film got the honor of debuting the inspirational clip, which you can...

Morning!
A new web series called In the Deep follows four friends in London's East End, including Emilia, who "has a confusing ‘thing’ with Riley, her straight best friend who also has a boyfriend."
Here's the first episode.
The Ultimate Fighter is finally putting women on their show and current Ufc contender Miesha Tate said she thinks it's going to be "wild."
I think it's going to be Real World meets Tuf, and I don't know, I have this idea or joke actually that all the girls are going to be like lesbians or hooking up with all the girls, and all the boys are going on there with hope thinking like, "we're gonna be the first guys that have chicks on the show and this is going to be awesome." And the girls are going to be like, "no boys allowed.

Since the close of Battlestar Galactica, Katee Sackhoff has been one of the most active of the cult classic’s illustrious alumni. She had a long run on 24, of course, but she’s also had significant multi-episode roles in CSI and Robot Chicken, as well as her central role in the A&E series Longmire. But her latest project is one she feels a different kind of passion for, and not just because she’s a producer. Sexy Evil Genius (out today on DVD, VOD, and digital download) was written by Scott Lew, the development-executive-turned-screenwriter who is waging a brave battle with Als....

This is a big month for Seth Green -- he not only stars in the incredibly powerful and moving The Story of Luke, playing Zack, a brilliant It specialist with autism, but he also stars in Sexy Evil Genius, as Zachary, a corporate drone who has lost control over his life. First names aren't all the two characters share, as both roles offer Green the chance to bring to life the kinds of people who wouldn't normally have movies made about them.
While Sexy Evil Genius is basically the nexus of all things cult-y thanks to stars Green, Michelle Trachtenberg, Katee Sackhoff, Anthony Michael Hall and Harold Perrineau, and the noir-ish drama fully capitalizes on those actors' appeal, the real reason to check out Sexy Evil Genius is because it's a damn fine thriller.

Sexy Evil Genius stars Katee Sackhoff as a psychotic ex and a woman scorned, who brings those exes together for a dinner at a Los Angeles bar. Lionsgate Home Entertainment is bringing the film to DVD, digital download, and On Demand on April 9, and to preview the giddily vengeful flick, we have an exclusive clip from the film to share with fans. Katee Sackhoff is currently playing a fairly stable female cop personality on A&E.s Longmire, so it.s been rather easy to forget her strengths actually lie in characters with complicated personalities and unusual quirks. In the clip, we see her start out as a seemingly bubbly individual and while her attitude never really changes, by the end of the segment, she.s said some pretty horrifying stuff about her self and some of the others at the table. Also in the clip, some prominent acting names,...

If you've ever wanted to see Oz (the werewolf) and Dawn (the Key) from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" making out, then we've got something extra special for you!
If you're like us, you find the whole idea kind of distasteful. Even though Seth Green and Michelle Trachtenberg's stints on "Buffy" did not overlap, Oz and Dawn snogging just seems... wrong.
But we believe in Seth and Michelle and fully support their endeavors (we especially lament the fact that we might not get to see Seth's "Star Wars: Detours" for a long, long time). So let's try to put the icky feelings aside and enjoy this exclusive clip from the crime thriller "Sexy Evil Genius."
"Sexy Evil Genius," which also stars Katee Sackhoff, William Baldwin and Harold Perrineau, will be available on DVD, VOD and digital download on April 9th.

Funny, but when I was writing about Shawn Piller’s “Sexy Evil Genius” way back in 2011, I was under the impression that it was a comedy. Possibly with some slasher tropes tossed in, but definitely a comedy. Then Lionsgate went and released this first trailer for “Sexy Evil Genius” and, uh, it doesn’t look like a comedy to me. As in, at all. I didn’t chuckle once. Go figure. Anyways, check out the trailer for “Sexy Evil Genius”, along with DVD cover art and some stills from the movie below. Production apparently wrapped in 2011, but we’re just now getting the film. Better late than never, as the saying goes. Following her work on "Battlestar Galactica," actress Katee Sackhoff has been a part of some film projects like Sexy Evil Genius and Riddick, but those films aren't hitting the big screen very soon. However, we might see her in action sometime soon as Variety reports Sackhoff has been lined up to join Gina Carano in the all-female take on The Expendables from The Grey and Dredd 3D producer Adi Shankar. The producer commented, "If you spend five minutes with Katee it becomes blatantly obvious that she would pwn most male action stars." That's all well and good, but when are we going to get big names on this film? Variety says several prominent female action stars are still circling the project, but no names are mentioned this time either. Katee Sackhoff, best known as hotshot pilot Kara ‘Starbuck’ Thrace in Battlestar Galactica is officially the second name to sign on for untitled female take on Lionsgate’s The Expendables franchise.
Sackhoff has agreed to join former Mma fighter Gina Carano in the estrogen-powered Expendables riff that 1984 Private Defense Contractors is producing.
Dutch Southern (2007 Black List script Hoof Harrington’s Greatest Hits) was tapped to write the all-female actioner back in August. Director has not yet been hired, but several prominent actresses affiliated with the action genre continue to circle the project: Angelina Jolie, Cameron Diaz, Milla Jovovich, Helen Mirren and Jamie Lee Curtis.
Producer Adi Shankar said:

Sackhoff is currently shooting the horror movie Oculus that already has cast Dr Who sidekick Karen Gillan with Brenton Thwaites and Rory Cochrane.

Battlestar Galactica's Katee Sackhoff is the second actress to officially sign on to star in the female Expendables action film. Mma fighter Gina Carano was the first actress to sign on, and Sackhoff is yet another amazing choice to add to the cast. If you've seen the previous work she's done, then you know that she's not only good looking, but can kick some major ass!
Producer Adi Shankar had this to say about the actress in a statement,
If you spend five minutes with Katee it becomes blatantly obvious that she would pwn (sic) most male action stars.
It's hard not to argue with that statement. She's also starred in A&E Network's "Longmire" and also played a major role in the eighth season of "24." She's set to star alongside Vin Diesel is his next Riddick film, and also recently finished shooting The Haunting in Georgia and Sexy Evil Genius.

Katee Sackhoff is all dolled up, and it's not how you might be used to seeing her. As Starbuck on the cult hit Battlestar Galactica, Sackhoff was the tough, ass-kicking natural beauty that appealed to both men and women. At the Cable TCA day in January, Sackhoff is wearing her blonde hair long and curled with more make-up than she seems to ever wear on screen. But once she talks, her demeanor exposes that same kind of Starbuck-esque straightforwardness Sackhoff carries in real life. Even in a frilly top, she seems like she could throw down with any person in the room, not that anyone would dare challenge her.
"Somebody at one point in my life told me I'm very androgynous," Sackhoff told me. "And I never saw that in myself. I think what it was I lived in a small town and my dad always said 'Play with the boys until you get hurt.

Katee Sackhoff Diesel in Riddick 3
Considering the recent financial woes experienced by cast and crew, it might not be the greatest news for her, but Battlestar Galactica babe Katee Sackhoff has signed on to confront Vin Diesel as the female lead in Riddick 3.
Ever since BSG went off the air, Sackhoff has been making sure her presence on the small screen is felt, with appearances in shows like 24 and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation insuring that she remains in the spotlight. Now, Deadline brings word that the former Starbuck is headed to the big screen in the upcoming Riddick 3.
When Sackhoff goes against the chrome-domed anti-hero, she’ll be portraying a Nordic mercenary named Dahl that’s tracking down Riddick. [1] It took years for Vin Diesel and David Twohy to finally get their third Riddick movie off the ground, and even once production began, the project ran into further troubles [2] and was forced to go on a two-month hiatus while it paid off its debts. But production is back in full swing [3] at the Montreal set now, and things are looking up, at least on the casting front. According to new reports, Colombiana actor Jordi Mollà has entered negotiations to play the head villain, while Battlestar Galactica star Katee Sackhoff, who was offered a part back in the fall, is now in final talks to board the untitled picture. More details after the jump. Variety [4] reports that Mollà is negotiating for the character of Santana, a mercenary who leads a team of eight in hunting down and killing Riddick (Diesel). Mollà should be pretty used to playing villains by this...

Katee Sackhoff is on the hunt for Vin Diesel.
The "Battlestar Galactica" alum is set to return to her sci-fi roots as she's signed on for the untitled "Chronicles of Riddick" sequel, according to Deadline.
Sackhoff will play the role of Dahl, a Nordic mercenary (or "merc," as they're called in the Riddick-verse) who's tracking down everyone's favorite ex-con with the super-sensitive eyesight. She's the first cast member to officially join Vin Diesel in the sci-fi adventure, which recently resumed production in Montreal after a brief hiatus brought on by financing issues.
The untitled sequel follows "Pitch Black" (2000), a not-bad variation on "Aliens" that features Richard B. Riddick (Diesel) teaming up with his fellow crash survivors (including Radha Mitchell and Keith David) to take on a bunch of nasty light-sensitive creatures on a desolate desert planet; and "The Chronicles of Riddick" (2004), the overproduced second chapter that unfortunately traded the modest...

Actor Seth Green has largely stuck to animated comedy lately, playing Chris Griffin in Family Guy, providing motion capture for Mars Needs Moms, and writing for, doing voices for, and producing his stop-motion Adult Swim show, Robot Chicken.
Having more than proven himself in comedy, Green’s gearing up to give drama a try. The Hollywood Reporter confirms the actor has been cast opposite Lou Taylor Pucci (Thumbsucker) in The Story of Luke, a film about an autistic man (Pucci) trying to find a job and a girlfriend. Green stars as Zach, a character who “plays an instrumental role in coaching Luke in his journey.”
The Story of Luke was written by Alonso Mayo based on his own documentary, Just Like Anyone, about families of children with developmental disabilities at his mother’s education and rehabilitation school in Peru. It will be Mayo’s fictional directorial debut.

Better get comfortable, because today’s edition of the casting couch is a little bit cramped, as Jennifer Hudson will grace the big screen in an unstooge like manner, Susan Sarandon is mother of a son who hates his dad, Brandon Routh shoots Cooked Arrows, and Seth Green is a Sexy Evil Genius.
The Three Stooges will have to go head to head with three nuns as Jennifer Hudson joins the cast of the adaptation. The other two nuns include Jane Lynch, who will be playing Mother Superior, and Larry David, who will be paying Mother Mengele. Hudson will star as Sister Rosemary, a possible nice nun of the three, Deadline reports. The Fox comedy has already begun shooting, with Peter and Bobby Farrelly directing and Chris Diamantopoulos (Moe), Sean Hayes (Larry) and Will Sasso (Curly) starring.

Seth Green and Michelle Trachtenberg just joined a project together -- and no, it is not a 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' reunion. In fact, the only thing 'Sexy Evil Genius' has in common with 'Buffy' is that the upcoming indie flick will feature a strong female protagonist (played by 'Battlestar Galactica' alum Katee Sackhoff).
'Genius,' the debut film from director Shawn Piller (executive producer of ABC Family's 'Greek' and -- when it was still on the air -- 'Stephen King's Dead Zone'), is about a group of strangers who are brought together in a bar in downtown Los Angeles by their mutual ex-girlfriend (Sackhoff).

Three radically different comedies are filling up with a bevy of well-known actors. Johnny Knoxville, Josh Pence and many more have joined the cast of [1] Fun Size, a kid comedy described as a Halloween-set blend of Superbad and Adventures in Babysitting. Allison Janney has been cast by Josh Radnor for Liberal Arts, which the How I Met Your Mother star will star in, write and direct [2]. Also Seth Green and Michelle Trachtenberg will appear along Katee Sackhoff in the dark comedy [3] Sexy Evil Genius. Read more about all of these projects after the jump. In the most awkward pairing of site and scoop ever, Bloody Disgusting [4] broke the news of the tween comedy called Fun Size which will feature Nickelodeon star Victoria Justice as a babysitter who takes a young kid to a party on Halloween and loses them. It'll mark the feature debut of Josh Schwartz, the creator of The Oc and Chuck.

It.s sort of a Buffy reunion! Almost. Ok, not really, but we fans have to take our Vampire Slayer connections where we can get them. It.s been a long eight years since our beloved TV series went off the air. Buffy alums Seth Green and Michelle Trachtenberg, instead of leading the charge of a reunion, will be lending their talents to the indie drama Sexy Evil Genius, which is not a spinoff of the Austin Powers franchise no matter how much it sounds like it. Genius actually is an L.A.-based drama about a conniving woman (Katee Sackhoff) who lures a group of strangers to a bar and eventually reveals the bizarre way that they are all connected. The Hollywood Reporter says Billy Baldwin and Lost co-star Harold Perrineau Jr. will join the cast, and that Shawn Piller, executive producer of ABC Family's Greek, will direct.

Sobini Films sent over this press release for the upcoming dark comedy, Sexy Evil Genius.
The film is a dark comedy about an eclectic group of strangers invited to a downtown Los Angeles bar by a mutual ex-lover, Nikki Franklyn (Sackhoff), a maddeningly sexy, unpredictable and possibly insane young woman who’s recently gotten out of prison for murdering her last ex-boyfriend. The party really gets started when Nikki herself arrives, hauling her latest lover and fiancée, the morally-challenged lawyer who’s been handling her case. She’s mysterious about her intentions and her current and former lovers soon realize they are all caught in one of her brilliant, mischievous mind-games with possible deadly consequences.
Lew is stricken with Als (Lou Gehrig’s Disease.) He is almost fully paralyzed and writes by moving his head in slight motions that connect to a digital keyboard screen. He literally wrote the script one letter,...

The movie may not have anything to do with their respective shows, but the newly announced indie "Sexy Evil Genius" is a TV geek's dream come true.
Joining the cast of "Greek" executive producer Shawn Pillar's directorial debut are former "Buffy" co-stars Seth Green and Michelle Trachtenberg, Katee Sackhoff of "Battlestar Galactica" fame and Harold Perrineau Jr. a.k.a. Michael on "Lost."
Billy Baldwin is also joining the cast, according to Hollywood Reporter, though we'd be hard pressed to call him a staple on either "Gossip Girl" or "Parenthood" -- but hey, the movie needed at least one person who didn't own their respective TV shows.
The movie centers on a group of people brought together at a bar in Los Angeles by their mutual ex-girlfriend (played by Sackhoff). Judging by the title and the filmmaker's comments, not all is as it seems, with Sackhoff's character living up to the titular description.
