Desperation Day (#6.16)

Warning: Spoilers
The best thing about this episode is the Marshall and Lily story. So many cute and fun moments. There is the Marshpillow and their tradition of watching Predator on Valentine's Day and Marshall "taking care" of his mother by going back into childhood and playing video games all day. Very much Lily and Marshall, sweet, cute, touching and funny.

The other two stories are alright. Nothing too great. Ted's freak out is not very easy to understand for me, plus I am not a big fan of his new girlfriend. And I must say I don't like to see Barney liking somebody else but Robin. Especially somebody who seems to be so different from Robin. she should at least be his type!

Neil Patrick Harris knocks it out if the park once again as Barney Stinson as "How I Met Your Mother" this was a really fun episode, Jason Segel and Alyson Hannigan are both excellent

Plot in A Paragraph: It's approaching Valentine's Day 2011, and Barney has renamed the 13th "Desperation Day" for all the single, desperate women who feel the need to hook-up with anyone by the end of the day so as not to be alone on the 14th, he also vows to be home by midnight alone so that he say he doesn't have a date on Valentine's. Barney has a laser tag date as friends with Robin on the actual day. Romance is not looking good for the rest of the gang. Robin is spending the day before Valentine's with some single girlfriends from work in protest of Valentine's. Even Lily and Marshall are not going to be spending it watching "Predator" together like every year, as Marshall is still in Minnesota helping his mother after the passing of his father. And Ted and Zoey have decided to take their relationship at a snail's pace.

Any episode that features the brilliant Neil Patrick Harris's character Barney Stinson in the main storyline is always excellent. I could go on and on about the brilliance of this episode, and in particular Neil Patrick Harris but I won't bore you with it.

I'm still not liking Zoe, but guess I have to put up with her. Two new additions I did like was, "Marshpillow" I loved it, and I really liked Nazanin Boniadi as Nora, Robins co worker and possible love interest for Barney. I hope we see more of her.
