I would like to think that this story is a bit incredulous but, life takes all sorts so maybe it's not.

Whereas the last episode weakened at the end, this one improved.

Great acting all round and writing that builds up nicely.

The life of a man in a midlife crisis is portrayed well.

Love, lust and obsession are given a beautiful lease of life.

Interesting study of obsession.

Warning: Spoilers
Two of my favourite actors, Andy Serkis and Tom Ellis in the same show, how could I resist. This was a very interesting and quite creepy study of obsession. Showing the lengths an otherwise pretty ordinary man can go to when he meets someone he thinks he can love and be happy with. The irony of his hypocrisy seems lost on him, condemning one man, Neil (Tom Ellis) for having an affair and cheating on his wife when Liam is doing the exact same thing. Even though I already knew the ending it was still shocking to watch. A highly entertaining, well written and well acted show. On a side note Tom Ellis has appeared on Doctor Who and the future Doctor, Jodie Whittaker, plays the part of Emma, the object of Liam's obsession.

Andy Serkis plays a leading man

Warning: Spoilers
Andy Serkis, who's Lord of the Rings role inspired many a fanboy to have Gollum impersonators snatching the ring at their weddings, is the lead performer in Liam's Story from Accused. Anyway, Andy stars opposite Jodie Whittaker, who later played Doctor Who. Also, Peter Capaldi, who was also in another episode of Accused (the one where he's dressed as a clown) later became the Doctor albeit before Jodie did. Tom Ellis, also stars, and he's the victim of the love crime.

For a bit of edge, I would have liked for Danny Dyer to play one of the roles, because he would have chewed the screen for sure.
