A powerful story of the reconciliation possible through those who trust Jesus as their Messiah and savior.

This documentary goes beyond the amazing imagery and interviews to the very core of what humanity has struggled with throughout time. The Israel/Palestine struggle has gone on for centuries and there is more than two sides to each position. Interestingly enough so many are finding hope for peace in Jesus the Jewish Messiah.

Many skeptics say that Jesus cannot be the Messiah because the Tanach (Hebrew Bible) says that when the Messiah comes, he will usher in an era of world peace. While this is true, people don't understand that even if God sat everyone down and made them shake hands and "make up", nothing would change. Peace starts in the heart, and this is the peace that Jesus brought in the hearts of those who trust in him.

By laying down his life and his "rights", Jesus, who was without sin, died and rose from the dead and promised that any who believes in him and his sacrifice, that they too would have eternal life with God. This documentary shows how lives of Israelis (Jewish and Arab) were changed dramatically and for ever through faith in Jesus. Watch and you will see how this is possible in the most unlikely of places.

The cause and effect of this film is great

A friend of Jews for Jesus gave a copy of "Forbidden Peace" to her church's missions coordinator, who also happens to lead Bible studies in two different prison facilities. One time she was unable to go, and her helper, a young man in his twenties, had to go alone to one of the facilities to do the Bible study. He was very nervous, having never done this before. So, she gave him the "Forbidden Peace" DVD to show the inmates, so that he could minister to them without leading a traditional Bible study. At the end of the film, he asked if anyone wanted to receive Jesus and a young Muslim man entered the kingdom of God that night! Praise God!

"Forbidden Peace" is our film depicting stories of Israelis and Palestinians finding reconciliation with one another through Jesus.
