On the Great, Good, Meh, Bad, Terrible scale of television measurement I give unto Pasta Wars "Good" and the same to Mother Garfield however Mother Garfield edges out Pasta Wars as it has a more compelling plot and story line, more believable for the cartoon world at any rate, even if Pasta Wars does just happen in a dream, it was a bold choice for them to open the series with such a strange a bizarre story line but I'm not moaning. A solid 8/10.

In this first episode of the Garfield show comes two very new and very good sketches. Pasta wars creates a feeling like the pasta garfield eats is real. Its not the best skit of all time, let alone the best of the episode, but it is still a great sketch no matter what. Mother garfield... where do i start. One of my favorite Garfield Show sketches of all time with out a doubt. Garfield is a cat he should not like big ol birdies but in this one he chickens out like a cat. Wait. Anyway its one of the best sketches in Garfield history in my opinion. And has the best quote of a Garfield sketch ever. "I Know where you live"
10/10.
