As always with Skins they lull you into accepting a character bases on the snippets you see of them, but when they delve into their particular story you see that all is not as it first appears. Mini seemed to have it all, beauty, popularity, the handsome boyfriend, she was the Queen Bee. However what lay underneath is a very complex character, insecure, loaded with angst, masking so many of her insecurities. Someone who seemed so one dimensional initially is actually just like any other teen, complex and multi layered. Plaudits to Freya Mavor in one of her earliest roles, she is brilliant. It was nice to see the roles reversed and get to see Franky laugh at Mini.

More than meets the eye

Mini has a freckled angel face, long blond hair: she's a very beautiful girl, surrounded by a bunch of friends and a popular, hot boyfriend. But there's more than meets the eye, and being the girl everybody aspires to be friends with, or to make love to, has a lot of negative consequences, as Mini will soon learn. I didn't like her, in the beginning. I felt she was false and bitchy just like every other blonde in every other show, but I forgot that Skins is NOT your typical teen drama, because each character has more sides, and Mini, as the tradition of Skins claims (the most stereotyped characters are the ones with more things to say), is very complex and hides some secrets you couldn't tell at first glance. She's not the new Michelle Richardson, for sure; and she's not even stupid and insensible as I thought. Freya Mavor portrays Mini with freshness and innocence, and she could possibly grow even more in her acting skills. We're just at the beginning. Best scene? The confrontation between Franky and Mini.

*Mini looks so pretty and has really pretty long legs especially when shown walking down the halls*
Mini wakes up in a reddish nightgown with built in shorts. She wakes up gorgeous like a princess.
She prepares breakfast in a sports bra, carefully picking out portions. She goes for a run, goes to her trainer's class and makes sure she maintains her weight.
At school Mini enters the boys' locker room and everyone looks calm with a "vag" in the room. She goes over to her bf and a guy is showering at the back. I really wish there were private stalls.
Mini is pressured by her bf for sex. He brings up her not being a virgin and he has done a ton of wild sex himself. She claims she is not a virgin.
Mini looks at magazines for sex positions and tries to do the female's positions herself on her bed.
Mini's mom puts her hands on Mini's waist and admires her daughter. She reminds Mini boys only want one thing and once they get it, they will leave.
Mini, Liv and the boys go bowling and get kicked out for drinking. Liv has taken bf's key secretly so they head to the other boy's home.
They play a game involving questions and stripping or taking a drink. Liv is topless with her bra on. Mini takes off an earring and tells the other boy only her bf gets to see what is underneath.
Liv and the boy have sex on the couch, him on top.
Liv's bf pressures her and Liv finally seems to accept the idea but throws up.
Mini is taken back to her room and she is wearing a super cute pink and white striped bra. Liv strips off her clothes to her underwear in front of Mini's bf. Liv and Mini's bf sleep on the floor next to her. Mini wakes up shocked to see the two of them.
The day of the fashion show is a mess. Mini watched her bf and Liv dance together for rehearsals in Mini's outfit. They walk down the catwalk and at the end do a little couple's dance.
Mini puts on the dress and complains Liv's saggy boobs stretched it out. Liv works to tighten the back of the dress's corset while everyone boys and girls sit around the room. The supervisor comes in and asks Mini about the preparations. Mini faints.
Mini is sent home. She is upset and dresses up at home wearing a long pink corset dress, facial veil, eyelashes, diamond studs on her eyes. She puts tanning product on and sprays her hair. She finds her bf at the college and tries to persuade him to leave with her. The bf refuses saying Liv and his team needs him there.
Mini watches Liv and her bf do the catwalk and the fashion show is finished. Liv thanks her best friend Mini and reminds of the after party.
At the after party Mini watches Liv and the boy come out fumbling with their clothes, clearly having had sex. Mini takes her bf and goes to his home.
