- Belle: [muttering to herself as Poppy goes off to the bathroom] Typical bloody Stephanie. Even behind bars, she's calling the shots. Still, Poppy seems... sweet, you know, she's hardly the devil's spawn.
- Poppy: So, are you a corporate headhunter too?
- Belle: [nods] Yes.
- [what else is there to say?]
- Poppy: Do you work for the same company as Mum?
- Belle: Er, no. Well, I... I used... I used to. But, uh, now I'm more on the... the operations front.
- Poppy: Oh, it's lucky you weren't stuck out in Saudi as well. Mum reckons she might be out there for weeks working on this job.
- Belle: [as Poppy puts on lip-ice] Saudi?
- Poppy: Mm. She must hate it out there - the way they treat women.
- Belle: [with irony] Awful, huh?
- Poppy: Hmm.
- Ben: [after startling her at her front door] Good to see you, too.
- Belle: Sorry, I wasn't expecting you.
- Ben: Yeah,
- [laying on the irony:]
- Ben: I just thought I'd come and say hi, say thanks - all the postcards, e-mails. Overwhelming.
- Belle: It was a tropical island, Ben.
- Ben: How about since you've been back? Or have you been too busy with the whole head-in-the-sand hiding thing?
- Belle: Are you just gonna stand on my doorstep and insult me?
- Ben: I could come in and do it.
- Belle: [chuckles] Thought you'd never ask.
- [last lines]
- Ben: Your job is just your job, Hannah. It's not you. I can handle it.
- Belle: If I lose you, Ben, I'll have nobody.
- Ben: You will not lose me.
- Belle: But I might.
- Ben: Hannah, there are thousands of reasons why we shouldn't try. There are thousands more why we should.
- [they kiss, looking like an ideal couple, but she gives a troubled look over his shoulder]
