The team's still down about Myka leaving the warehouse and soon Mrs. Frederic recruits a new agent - an ATF agent who has the gift of being able to tell when people are lying. Two people have died under mysterious circumstances (as if there are any other kind on this show) and the only clue is that the victims' dying words were quotations from a cursed lost folio of plays by Shakespeare (or as Pete would have it, the Bird of Avon). Pete seeks out Myka , who is working in her parents' bookstore, in the hope that she can shed some light on the happenings. The new recruit, Steve Jinks, becomes Pete's new field partner - something Pete's not very happy about. Myka saves Steve's life and those of other potential victims' lives because she can quote lines from Shakespeare. We see a halo-graph image of H.G. Wells giving Myka a pep talk as to why she should return as an agent to the warehouse. We also get a glimpse of a new and deadly villain. Strong episode and the Steve character makes a good addition to the team.
