- Bob vents his frustration out on those who voted Aaron and Jesse off campus after the latest weigh-in. The eight remaining contestants, now competing as individuals, are provided support in the form of video messages from home. One contestant, however, receives no such traditional support, but does receive one from a non-traditional source. Both Bob and Jillian focus much of their attention on Elizabeth, who they feel has not yet been able to stand on her own two feet at the ranch. Jillian gets her to complete a yet as of unfinished task. But they want all the contestants to step their training up a notch as their on-ranch journey gets closer to ending. The reward challenge for the week is a one foot balancing one while perched precariously over a pool of water, the winner to receive a one pound advantage at the weigh-in. The one pound becomes all the more important when the contestants learn what will be happening the following week if they remain on the ranch.—Huggo
- Open with Alison telling the contestants they are going back to being individuals this week and will stay that way until the end of the series.
Elizabeth talks about having something to prove this week on her own. After hearing Aaron was voted off Bob grabs Brendan and kicks his butt during the first workout this week. Patrick talks about how important it is for him to win the show for his family. He tells Bob he is doing things in the best interest of himself. Bob thinks he should want to challenge the best competitors.
The trainers tell the contestants that they will be seeing videos from home this week. Bob takes Ada aside and tells her that her family didn't send one. She isn't surprised.
The videos from home are the expected collection of well-wishes. The contestants bring Ada into the TV room and show a video they just made. It is of them telling her how much she means to them and how much they support her.
After the next workout Jillian takes Elizabeth aside and has her finish the 500 step challenge from the season premiere. She completes it with the rest of the gang standing around cheering her on.
Our challenge this week is for an extra pound at the weigh-in. It involves every contestant standing on two platforms above a pool. When it is their turn a platform will be removed and they must balance for a set amount of time, beginning with five seconds. The contestants themselves will chose who is next to balance after successfully completing a turn.
The competition only gets interesting at three, when Mark and Lisa go back and forth for three rounds trying to get the other one to fall as Ada looks on. Lisa ends up falling at the 25 second round. Ada falls on the next attempt and Mark wins.
Bob singles out Elizabeth at the start of the last chance workout. Frado appears to have a new level of focus being so close to 100 pounds of weight lost on the ranch. Elizabeth will be below 200 if she can lose six pounds this week. Jessica says it took her several days to get her head aback in the game after Jesse was voted off. Ada tears up a mile on the treadmill, beating her previous best time. Elizabeth is completely wiped out after the workout, but Bob really liked her effort.
Weigh-in time. Alison tells us that next week is makeover week. First up is Mark, who is down eight pounds (to 309). With the additional pound that is total loss of 2.84 percent. Patrick loses ten pounds (to 301) and moves into first. He has now lost 99 pounds since arriving on the ranch.
Frado is also nearing the 100-pounds-lost mark, needing nine pounds to reach the mark. He is down exactly those nine pounds (to 267). He is in first place and is the first person to be safe. Brendan is next, needing 10 pounds to be safe. He is down eight pounds (to 272), which means Patrick is safe.
Up next is Elizabeth, who needs to have lost more than five pounds to be safe. She is down four pounds (to 201), which means Brendan is safe. Elizabeth is disappointed by her number. Jessica is on the scale needing at least seven pounds to be safe. She is down only a single pound (to 227). She tells Alison she's isn't totally surprised. This means Mark is safe.
Lisa is up next. She needs to have lost at least five pounds to be safe. She does exactly that, losing six pounds (to 228). It is the first time she's been above the yellow line by herself. This means Jessica is definitely going to be below the yellow line.
Or final contestant to weigh in is Ada, who needs to have lost at least four pounds to be safe. She does it easily, down eight pounds (to 190) to win this week's weigh-in. This means Jessica and Elizabeth are up for vote.
Vote time. Alison says fist that if there is a tie Jessica will go home (total weight lost). Brendan votes for Jessica, because it is part of the game. Frado says essentially the same thing and votes for Jessica. Lisa goes for Jessica also, which means she is eliminated.
We see Jessica go back home to Arizona. She has a makeover before going home and is greeted by a huge throng of family and friends. She has lost 27 more pounds since leaving the show.
