With only one more episode things are getting tense in Barry Island; police woman Nancy Reid is sure that Mitchell is responsible for the Box Tunnel Massacre and is determined to prove it; Mitchell will do almost anything to ensure that he isn't exposed as a vampire and as if that isn't enough Werewolves McNair and Son turn up to visit. As Nancy's investigation progresses it looks certain that Mitchell will be arrested for his crimes; if that happens he will be photographed and the existence of vampires will become known. It looks as if she will be stopped when one of the police officers she works with turns out to be a vampire; until she gets some help from an unlikely source. The werewolves' story progresses too; George and Nina go to the hospital and learn the baby is developing much faster than would be expected for a human baby and McNair confronts his old enemy Herrick.
As one would expect from the penultimate episode the tension is cranking up nicely and there is a fair amount of violence; although we only see the bloody aftermath rather than the acts themselves. As always the cast, regulars and guest stars alike did a great job; while I'm looking forward to seeing how the series concludes I'm not looking forward to it being over, I just hope there is another series next year.
