While looking fruitlessly for this film, which is, inexplicably, not available on YouTube, I eventually found it.
Anyway, I shouldn't have been so worried. It would appear the writer never really figured out how to make the woman's surgical penetrations and removal of some black goop from her male counterpart's abdomen as blackly humorous as I assume was intended.
She chloroforms him, then slices him open, thus supposedly getting rid of the 'negative emotions' she has engendered by her uptight, rather supercilious persona. Also, she has a terrible cleaning fetish. What she gets as a reward is a rather doting,love-sick puppy of an excuse for a real man.
The final scene of them jointly consuming the blobs of black goop is too disgusting to be the climax of their mutual acceptance of one another I believe it was indented to portray.
A worthy effort as far as its imaginative premise is concerned, but woefully lacking in execution.
