Bonnie Greer adds a lush narration to this nice documentary about the sea otters of Monterey Bay. The principal focus is a mother and her pup co-existing with luxury yachts in a private marina - some of the musical choices are rather specific and it succumbs to a bit too much of the old anthropomorphised drama towards the end. The real draw here however is some wonderful photography both above and below the waterline of these charming creatures and it does a solid job of presenting some of the societal context.
