  Det. Merry Danner : We can still get Carson.

  Sgt. Gregory Parker : He's homicide's case now. Maybe they can make it stick.

  Ed Lane : Okay, Greg, look. We did the best we could with the information we had. If I had had a bad feeling, I would've said something.

  Ed Lane : I saw Sophie last night and she said that I have to choose.

  Sgt. Gregory Parker : What do you mean?

  Ed Lane : It's her, the kids, or it's the job. It's the job. And what am I supposed to do with that? What am I supposed to do?
