Icicles Can Kill.....Even In Florida!
ccthemovieman-18 March 2012
Warning: Spoilers
I've never watched "Jersey Shore" but I know this has to be a take-off of it, or least several of its characters. Three of the actors - complete with horrible NJ/NY accents - are selling products to a cheering crowd below. Another actor suddenly comes on stage weaving as if she's drunk, but drops over dead. A man with a gun is seen in the crowd, and he takes off with Eric (who was doing security for the show).

The investigation begins.

We soon learn that the girl was killed with an icicle off a huge State of Liberty ice statute. Somebody stabbed the victim in the ear, and it penetrated her brain. Which of these "Snookie"-types did it, or was it somebody else?

Overall, a "fair" episode at best. Kind of annoying, in fact, to us non-Jersey Shore people.

Where was it?

We here in PA didn't get to see it, even though all the schedules said it would be on. I cannot stand having real programs preempted by reality shows. This time is was Undercover Boss. I didn't watch it! I remember being angry about Cold Case being preempted by some other stupid reality show. Please stop doing this, CBS! Most of the programs I watch are on CBS because they are good programs. Don't screw it up!

Interesting! I can't submit this review unless it is 10 lines long. Well, it is really difficult to review a program I didn't get to see even though I had looked forward to it. There was no warning it would be replaced by a stupid reality show. I don't understand.

And CBS--since I have the space--Don't cancel Medium. But if you must, let the writers give the viewers closure with the plot and characters. Don't just end it.

If I am going to spend money to watch TV, I expect real TV, not reality TV. Otherwise, I'll quit watching.

How would that work?

Warning: Spoilers
I thought this episode was a good one, except for one thing. In the beginning of the episode Shae comes out before Zachery, meaning he would have been in the greenroom when the victim was stabbed, but he saw nothing. It doesn't make sense.
