The film crew could only film for roughly 1 to 2 hours at a time outdoors in Western NY as the equipment would freeze and not work properly. They would go back to a slightly heated cabin, get the equipment thawed and go back outside and shoot again. Temperatures were below zero for much of thew shoot.
In one shot of Len Kabasinski's character "Warner" in the bar room scene, when he slams the bartender down on the counter top. In one shot only a pink bracelet can be seen on Len's wrist that read "John, (I) miss you (with heart symbols)". John was one of Len's good friends who passed away in a car accident just 2 weeks before filming.
Actress DeAnna Visalle appears fully nude throughout the film. During the scene where the hunter finds her character, temperatures were in the single digits. not only is she fully nude for the scene, she also walks off into the snow for about 20 yards with no foot gear. During the scene that introduces her character, Temperatures were in the 30's and the scene was shot in 30 mins on the director's lunch break from work.
