Acting 9 *s Movie 3 *s

I don't like these flashback/amnesia movies. This brings to mind Mr. Buddwing, a 1966 James Garner movie made in the same flashback/amnesia manner as this movie. I saw that one in the theater as a 12 year old kid as half of a double feature and earnestly tried to make sense of it. Poor kid, should have skipped out after the Beach Party movie. James Garner himself says he has no idea what that movie was about. So I'm Amazoning this tonight and while I don't like it I left it on as background noise tonight. It made the cut. And you know what's good about this movie? The acting. The entire cast does a great job. When they made this movie they thought it was going to be a good movie. They believed in it. The end result is a less than satisfying mess of amnesiac vagueries and a tall tale of a super-hallucinogenic drug that never existed. The only reason to watch this movie is to appreciate the actors plying their art. You know that Goggins dude? I can't watch him without thinking, "There's that Baby Billy".

ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS TRASH!!! ONLY WATCHED FOR RON PERLMAN
lukem-527608 April 2021
I feel sorry for the legendary Ron Perlman sometimes because yes he's always working & that's great but he ends up in alot of weird, cheap indie crap & this is one of the worst of it's kind!!!!

I only got this on dvd because it starred Ron Perlman, i consider the guy as one of my all time favourite actors ever & as one of the best working today even though he's usually always underrated or not used properly, anyway Ron was completely wasted again in a piece of trash that's not even worth talking about.

Overwhelming film

Excellent interpretation of Joseph Morgan that overwhelms us, and makes us live the dream drama of Eric, the protagonist, with an extraordinary intensity.

This is my second favorite role with Joseph Morgan. He was amazing in this film. I only role I knew that Joseph Morgan played was Klaus. Klaus Mikaelson is my favorite role played by Joseph Morgan.
