Watch this movie!!!

Many times I sit down to watch a movie with black actors in Lead parts and I come away feeling robbed. That's usually because the movie gets into typical stereotypes of what black life is like. If its not the typical stereotypes, then its the same cast of actors and actresses. Also I get sick of the segregation in movies. The real world is full of Black, White, Asians, Indians, Russians and so on that are friends. However, when you go to the movies, you find segregated cast. This movie is refreshing because it doesn't follow some typical patterns. First, the actors are from quite a few races and I like that! Second, its good to see Black talent in a leading role of a script that is good. Not to mention, the direction, plot, rising and falling action of this suspense drama are all very well done. I hope to see movies continue to break the stereotypical patterns that movies follow. Don't believe me, watch the movie for herself.

Terrence (Siaka Massaquoi) and Angel (Keena Ferguson) are a married couple who engage in role playing. So there are times you ask yourself what is real and what is set up. They come home one night and Angel gets attacked (?) in what was a really poor scene. There marriage goes on the rocks as friends and detectives are called in to fill a movie with talks about relationships, roles, good men, good women, etc. The dialogue was boring and poorly delivered.

The drama centers around Angel and her moping and inability to cope with anything. I didn't care for any of the characters.

PARENTAL GUIDE: F-bomb, sex, rape, sex talk, no nudity.

I tried to watch this movie in its entirety, but I just couldn't give up that much of my life. The story didn't make sense, it was beyond unbelievable. The plot hopped all over the place. I found the characters ALL completely unlikeable and I didn't care what happened to any of them. For me, for a movie to work you have to be somewhat interested in what happens to the characters. Even if you hate them, you have to care somewhat. In this movie I just didn't care because the whole plot was ridiculous. As for there being a variety of races represented-- there weren't. Unless they came in on the part that I missed-- like the last 25 minutes. The cast was all black with one white woman thrown in and honestly I don't know what her purpose was. A man raping his wife could have been interesting as a plot, but in this movie was an insult to women, men and relationships. If there was supposed to be something deep I surely missed it. The writing was bad and the actors tried, but I think overall they tried too hard. They came off as actors. As in, I couldn't get into the movie because the acting was flat and unbelievable. If it were possible to give negative stars I would.
