- A man's dead body is found with a substantial pool of blood surrounding his head. Blood is also seen having come from his leg.. The rest of the movie shows pictures of the blood splatter and simulations of him falling out the window to his death.

Violence & Gore
- The family sons service dog consumes enough medication to face a near death situation in a very emotional scene. A story is told of the possibility of this same dog consuming a near fatal amount of medication in a past situation.
- An argument, in which physical violence is inferred, is heard through an audio recording. Different descriptions of the violence are given but the audience never sees the altercation.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- A disturbing depiction of domestic abuse.
- A dog almost overdoses on Asprin. He lies on the ground, weak and dead-eyed, and his suffering is very convincing. Though he is eventually saved, it is still a very intense scene.
- A recording of a heated argument between a couple is played. At the end of the tape, we can hear the sounds of what sounds like one person hitting another.
