A very good European movie

I've seen this movie and I enjoyed it a lot. The movie represents a modern view on the story of Phaedra and Hippolytus. Stathis Athanasiou did an excellent job with this movie. A modern take on this story is a great idea and I liked that it was done in sort of a "surreal" way. I enjoy good camera use and there are some shots/scenes that will probably be stuck in my head for a long time. I especially liked the use of color and good composition in some shots that I consider to be works of art. I found that it could of used some better "background soundtracks" throughout the film. The acting was not bad although Stavros Yagoulis was not very convincing for me. I thought he could of used more energy in this role and that he may have looked too gay for the part of Hippolytus(especially the haircut).

For me, it's one of those movies that you think and reflect on after watching and stays in your memory for a long time.
