There was supposed to have been a match between Lance Storm and Mikey Whipwreck. Storm walked to the ring with "Tammy Lynn Bytch" (better known as Dawn Marie (Dawn Marie Psaltis)) and a VHS box of "Hitman Hart: Wrestling With Shadows," saying he wasn't going to let Paul Heyman "screw" him like that, and left. Mikey got on the mic and threw out an open challenge to wrestle anyone. Rod Price answered. Mikey chickened out, saying that he wanted to wrestle, but that Price doesn't wrestle, he fights, and left. Price then threw out a challenge to "anyone who wants a damn fight!" "Natural Born Killaz" hit, bringing out New Jack (Jerome Young). Jack proceeded to squash Price in his usual fashion, using a Bus Stop sign, a telephone and other weapons, finishing with the flying guitar shot off the top for the pin. Commentator Joey Styles even said, "In ECW, you do not issue open challenges!"
The main event between Masato Tanaka and Justin Credible (P.J. Polaco) (w/Jason (Jason Knight) and Chastity (Denise Riffle)) was billed as a "Battle for the Future." Chastity wore a pink dress and actually looked glamorous, as opposed to her previous look where she usually wore pants and sneakers. "Reference-to-Doug Flutie" is listed as a keyword because, when Chastity is introduced, Joey Styles says, "She looks great. She's been eating her Flutie Flakes." Tanaka won with the Diamond Dust, which Joey called a "Rolling Whippersnapper" (Mikey Whipwreck's name for the move commonly known as "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's Stone Cold Stunner), making it a rare example of Joey Styles not knowing the name of a move. After the match, there was a backstage confrontation between Justin and Chastity, with Justin calling her by her real first name Denise. This was her last appearance in ECW, as she left for WCW soon after and never returned.
Featured The FBI (Tracy Smothers and Little Guido (James Maritato), w/manager "The Big Don" Tommy Rich) introducing The One Man Gang (George Gray) as their newest member. They beat up Chris Chetti, leading to Chetti's tag team partner Nova (Mike Bucci) running to the back to get Tommy Dreamer. Dreamer actually slammed the Gang, who usually weighed around 400 lbs., on his first try. Despite that, the FBI ultimately won the match.
