When Penzer says his car, "Veronica," is not for sale, Nate makes a comment about Betty being the fast one; this is a reference to Archie Comics characters of the same names.
When Parker is making the escape with the team she uses the phrase "outta the way ya old bat!" This is not just used as a reference to the flashback of her as a child working as a get away driver but also was the phrase shown on a computer screen saver of a cat behind the steering wheel of a car in the previous episode "The Gone Fishin' Job"
Penzer calls his car 'Veronica', and Ford makes an Archie Comic Book Reference when he asks why it's not called Betty.
When Hardison is demonstrating the EMP canon on the toy car he says, "This chick is toast." That's a line spoken by Bill Murray in Ghostbusters (1984) as they are about to shoot Gozer with the proton pack. Hardison follows this line with a comment about not crossing the streams. Crossing the streams from the proton packs was a big plot point in Ghostbusters.
Sophie uses a line from a car salesman character called Swiss Toni played by Charlie Higson from the British sketch show The Fast Show (1994) and spin-off sitcom Swiss Toni (2003) when she's selling to the looky-loo Mr Carey. Swiss Toni often relates various activities to making love to a beautiful woman. In this case, Sophie asks, "Do you want me to tell you why driving this car is like making love to a beautiful woman?"
