Low budget but entertaining indie!
cekadah23 October 2016
When it comes to judging a movie by it's budget this one comes in low on that scale. But the story is fun and funny and there are some great one liners that make this little flick worth watching!

Don't look for 'fine acting' here because it's not there. This movie is all about two burlesque dancers hiding out in a small town because of what they witnessed. This little town has it's share of odd characters and these two girls succeed in opening the door so some can freely express their inner desire.

This easy movie is surely one for a few laughs and some not so challenging girl on girl action which brings a special spicy touch to the story. And believe it or not there is a relevant social message for us all to learn.

A very odd and funny film!

Warning: Spoilers
At the beginning of the film, I thought the music and dancing were really great. It felt like I was there watching the show in a theatre then actually thinking that this is an actual film!

I found both girls Trixie and Sue very entertaining as characters with their dancing. Trixie really looks so much like the singer Ke$ha and she even has the same 'I don't care let's party' attitude as her. They definitely are twins seriously!

I have to say that mousy girl Marylou & Annie were just the best couple in this film! Annie is like your type of girl that would put a smile on your face with her smile and jolliness! She even would be your lifesaver like she even scared off Marylous stupid husband with a shotgun. Not that it's a great example of a good weapon but that kind of woman would protect you from all kinds of characters out there!

That Angela one is just a darling although she seems very obsessed with men. If I compared her to someone else, she acts and looks like Hilda from Ugly Betty except without the Scottish accent.

To be honest, you would fall in love with these girls once you see this movie, watch it!
