But how can we trust Leon...?
akicork21 November 2019
Good episode - story and acting up to scratch. Particular kudos to Cameron Monaghan as Nick, the screwed-up son. But really, after this how can we trust Leon Vance again? He is shown as corrupt (directing his agents to the benefit of an old friend without adequate evidence), close minded (unable to accept the findings of these agents when they run contrary to his preconceptions) and vicious (in his interrogation of Nick). It will take a lot of effort by the writers to convince me that Leon Vance is someone Gibbs and his team can rely upon. Nahh...he's a politician. (Perhaps that's the ploy!)

Vance is horrible

They need to find a director who is not corrupt and so certain of his own perfection. Vance is on Gibbs all the time. He never listens to anyone because he thinks he is perfect. They need to revisit the idea that Vance might not be Vance after all. He ruined this episode.
